Hollywood Liberals Need a Safe Space After Seeing Woody Harrelson Wearing an RFK Jr. Hat

You really do have to love it when liberals turn on each other for not being left enough. You also have to wonder if they will ever figure out that conservatives have the time of their lives laughing at them when they do. All Americans have the right to believe what they wish, good or bad. But in a place like Hollywood, where you can earn a living pretending, it seems as if the rights that average Americans enjoy stop at the city limits. Actor Woody Harrelson is the latest victim of not falling in lockstep with Hollywood liberals.

Leftie Hollywood heads exploded on X (Twitter) when “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress Cheryl Hines posted a picture of Harrelson wearing a “Kennedy 2024” hat on her Instagram account. Hines, who happens to be Mrs. Robert Kennedy Jr., captioned the photo, “Great seeing you, Woody. #friends #hats #rfkjr.” The reason behind Harrelson drawing the ire of leftists? He dared to be a skeptic, out loud, of COVID-19 pandemic protocols, as did Robert Kennedy Jr. Although previously, he had been a critic of childhood vaccines and got behind many other liberal causes. Apparently, Harrelson was not aware that he did not possess the “correct” views on COVID.

Many of Harrelson’s X “fans” seemed to have a problem with a guest host appearance on “Saturday Night Live” earlier this year and the show’s opening monologue where he discussed COVID mandates. Harrelson made his roast of COVID restrictions sound like a movie pitch he had received in 2019 and said:

So the movie goes like this: The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes. And people can only come out if they take the cartel’s drugs and keep taking them over and over. I threw the script away. I mean, who was going to believe that crazy idea? Being forced to do drugs? I do that voluntarily all day.

As you can imagine, Harrelson backing Robert Kennedy Jr. instead of the evidently “approved by Hollywood” President Joe Biden caused Tinseltown lefties to lose their minds. Andrew Kimmel is the senior producer for “Shark Tank.” Harrelson thinking for himself sent Kimmel into mourning, saying, “We lost Woody.” Had Woody signed up for anything? Someone named “Liberal Lisa in Oklahoma,” who is identified as an “influencer,” had this to say: “It’s official. After his s—– SNL opening monologue about Covid, now this. Woody Harrelson is dead to me.” Harrelson is no doubt heartbroken that Liberal Lisa no longer views him as being alive.

Because liberals simply cannot deal with opposing viewpoints, they are big fans of cancel culture. A response to Harrelson from prolific X user Angela Belcamino said, “Woody Harrelson just canceled himself.” Kind of sounds more like a threat than a comment. Devin Duke is a Democrat social media strategist. He is apparently under the impression that questioning is not the main part of science. He stated, “It’s a shame Woody Harrelson has revealed himself to be an anti-science quack.” Claude Taylor is a former Bill Clinton staffer and decided to go the snark route saying, “So disappointing. Good reminder actors are not role models.”

It is hard to make it in Hollywood, and harder still if you are a Republican and people know you are. Woody Harrelson may not be a dyed-in-the-wool conservative, but with his support for Kennedy, he may just get a small dose of what it is like. Household names like Antonio Sabato Jr., James Woods, and Tim Allen all tell stories of losing agents, work, and even having successful shows canceled, especially if you are a Trump supporter. And it is not just the name on the marquee; Sabato claims crew members on a movie he directed told him they had to work under assumed names for fear of losing future work. Roseanne Barr, who was promptly fired and canceled after an off-color tweet five years ago, has managed to make a comeback, but not without enduring the wrath of Hollywood-woke political correctness and group thinkers. She said of the toxic Hollywood culture, “It was a witch-burning. They denied me the right to apologize.”

Should Woody Harrelson do some campaigning for Robert Kennedy Jr., we may just be in store for more liberal comedy gold.
