Pennsylvania law enforcement authorities said in a press conference on Wednesday evening that five officers were shot, three of them killed, during an operation that began on Tuesday connected to a domestic dispute. The shooter was shot and killed by police during the incident.
Two gunshot victims are in critical but stable condition, according to a representative from a hospital.

Details remain scant at this hour, but there is breaking news about a shooting incident in York County, Pennsylvania, in which two law enforcement officers were shot, according to authorities, with the injuries described as "serious." Before heading to the scene, Governor Josh Shapiro confirmed some details while making remarks:
About an hour ago, in Susquehanna County, two state troopers were shot.

The Mexican consulate based in Philadelphia chimed in about the shooting, saying that they are "monitoring the incident," and urging Mexicans in the U.S. "to follow official instructions," but it's unclear why:
The Consulate of Mexico in Philadelphia posted on X shortly after the incident, noting the Mexican community is "advised to follow official instructions."
"The Consulate is monitoring the incident that occurred this afternoon in North Codorus Township, Pennsylvania," the consulate wrote in the post. "The Mexican community is advised to follow official instructions."
Officials noted if "consular assistance is required," they set up a hotline.
