In mid-January, my colleague Jennifer Oliver O’Connell wrote about a disturbing investigative report by our colleagues at our sister publication Townhall, which delves into details on a LGBTQ pedophile ring in suburban Georgia.

The story involves Zachary and William Zulock, adoptive fathers of two boys with special needs. The men, who live near Atlanta, were also celebrated activists in the LGBTQ community. Townhall’s investigation has since avalanched into a deep dive, four-part series. It began this way:

A months-long Townhall investigation reveals disturbing new details about the affluent LGBTQ-activist couple accused of sodomizing their young adopted sons—now ages 9 and 11—and distributing “homemade” child pornography of the sexual abuse. Half a year after the shocking story made national news, Townhall is the only outlet following up on the criminal case in Georgia that has since seen zero headlines written about it. We’ve found that it’s far, far worse than what was first reported.

Not only did the married men allegedly rape the two boys who were adopted through a Christian special-needs adoption agency, they were pimping out their children to nearby pedophiles in Atlanta-area suburbs, Townhall’s follow-up investigation discovered.

The report continued:

The adoptive fathers, 33-year-old government worker William Dale Zulock Jr. and 35-year-old banker Zachary “Zack” Jacoby Zulock—who was previously accused of raping a child—from Oxford, Georgia, have been indicted by a grand jury on charges of incest, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, felony sexual exploitation of children, and felony prostitution of a minor.

William and Zachary are each facing over nine life sentences. They’ve pleaded not guilty.

The alleged criminal activity is thought to “stretch back to as early as late 2019 and intensified in January 2021, March 2021, and December 2021, as the offense dates are listed.”

Townhall was the first to publish the identities of the other alleged pedophiles in the ring:

Townhall is the first to publicly identify these two alleged members of a pedophile ring in the heart of the Peach State: 27-year-old Hunter Clay Lawless and 25-year-old Luis Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, both of Loganville.

Indeed, Lawless was likely crucial to authorities busting the criminal activities the Zulock men were allegedly commiting:

Lawless, who snitched on the Zulocks, told local law enforcement he received “numerous” messages via Snapchat from Zachary about “f*cking [his] son tonight” and to “be prepared” to receive images as well as videos of the father raping his adopted child.

Lawless and Vizcarro-Sanchez might be just the beginning, though. There could be “other potential co-defendents” who were part in the pedophile ring :

There are other potential co-defendants under investigation that are “out there” circulating videos of the Zulock boys, Alcovy Judicial Circuit District Attorney Randy McGinley, who serves Walton County, told the court at a Sept. 7 bond hearing, according to a transcript provided to Townhall.

“They just view underage boys as sex objects,” McGinley said of the Zulock co-defendants at the virtual court appearance.

Now, Townhall has released an update, this time shining a spotlight on the potential origins of the pedophile ring:

….[M]ore information about the one co-defendant’s criminal history is coming to light in the lead up to the Zulock trial.

Newly filed court documents provide further insight into Zachary’s dark past and the origins of the Atlanta-area pedophile ring.

In a disturbing revelation, it appears this wasn’t the first time Zachary allegedly abused a child this way–and it happened well before the couple’s 2018 adoption:

As Townhall reported in Part 3 of the Zulock exposé, Zachary was previously accused of being a child rapist several years prior to the Zulock couple’s local 2018 adoption of the abused brothers. But, according to McGinley, the 2011 child rape case was “closed without a whole lot of investigation into it” and charges were never pursued against Zachary, who went on to adopt two little boys.

There was more information on the 2011 allegation/case:

In the additional notice McGinley’s office filed, a brief summary of the incident alleges that between June and August 2011, Zachary met a 14-year-old boy on Facebook, initiated contact, and lured the minor to a residence in Walton County where he raped the child. The alleged child rape became known to authorities during an investigation of child molestation involving another suspect in Fayette County, about an hour-and-a-half drive from Zachary’s home jurisdiction. After denying it at first, Zachary later admitted to knowing and communicating with both the Fayette County suspect and the underage victim, the court document says.

Townhall reports that although the case was closed, it

has since been reopened by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, a lieutenant in the criminal investigations division told Townhall via email statement. Active sheriff’s office detectives are now “seeking any leads that may still yield charges,” the police lieutenant wrote.
