MOTR, Ep. 89: Why Is Joe Biden So Generous to the Worst Terrorism Sponsor?

Shortly before leaving office, President Donald Trump arranged the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran's Revolutionary Guard responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American soldiers in Iraq. He was vaporized by two Hellfire missiles from a Reaper drone as he arrived to foment more killing in Iraq.

Now, we learn that President Joe Biden has unilaterally released another $10 billion of the frozen fortunes of Iran, the world's largest sponsor of terrorism.

Why?

Surely, the garrulous goof can't seriously believe that his ongoing generous gifts to the mullahs will buy any good will. The $100 billion Barack Obama returned in 2015 didn't buy good will.

The $6 billion Joe Biden paid for the release of Western hostages last summer didn't produce any good will. In fact, some of that money may have financed the training and arming for Hamas' October 7 terror attack in Israel.

This is only the latest of several multi-billion dollar payments to that regime of mullahs.

Because Joe Biden provides no rationale for these financial giveaways, we become suspicious. That's the topic of this week's audio commentary.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I hope you and your family have the warmest, heartiest holiday ever. That's what I wrote about in this week's Sunday column: How can we find what to be thankful for amid all of the anger, anxiety, and turmoil of today's world, both domestic and foreign?

I have some suggestions.

The most recent audio commentary examined Joe Biden's shifting support for Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East. It might be better to use the words "decaying support."

The interminable 2024 presidential contest continues with apparent stalemates on both sides. With the next debate set for Dec. 6 in Alabama, Donald Trump's lead over Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis, his two main competitors, remains large. But so many uncertainties remain, given his myriad legal troubles and their unknown impacts on the minds of worried voters.

Joe Biden's on another vacation this week. But his weak campaign remains in place for now, as dismay and concerns rise among Democrats over the continued crumbling of his support in public opinion polls. Personally, I don't see how his party can actually put him up as the nominee next summer in Chicago.

Every time he appears in public now, Biden fuels the growing concerns and fears about his decayed mental and physical health. Here's the latest from my RedState colleague Nick Arama.

Now, a heads-up for Black Friday shoppers. In an effort to alienate even more Americans, Hamas supporters vow to disrupt the first full day of traditional holiday shopping with demonstrations and confrontations across the country.
