Here’s something fantastic on this very virused Monday.
Are you bored and unable to do your usual things?
Amid closures and quarantine, some people are finding ways to do what they love outside of where they normally love to do it.
One such champion is Nick Heath, a notable UK journalist, podcast producer, and — most importantly — rugby commentator.
As you might imagine, all rugby matches have been indefinitely kiboshed — the sport isn’t exactly known for its social distance:
So what’s Nick to do?
Well, lucky for you and me, he’s chosen to continue his athletic commentating.
But this time, he’s doing it on the sport of daily life.
And the results are hilarious.
Here’s the way he used to do it:
Now, ladies and gentlemen, I give you Nick Heath, CoronaVersion 2020…

It’s just one more reminder that necessity is absolutely the mother of invention. And sometimes when things seem to be going all wrong, the best stuff happens.
I’m wishing Nick was there to comment every time I find myself a spectator of the mundane.
I’m sure he will be now — in my head.
How are you passing the time? Let us all know in the Comments section.
And if you’re not getting your exercise, behold this unmitigated genius.
Back to Nick, we really shouldn’t be surprised by his capacity to adapt. He’d previously shown an ability to shift the focus of his commentating when it made sense:
I always liked the idea of 'Inside The Commentary Box' where there's an accidental symmetry between what's happening inside to what's happening outside.#LifeCommentary pic.twitter.com/ezGYjYnNPU
