What’s not to love about Rob Schneider? He’s funny, seems down to earth, and he understands the value of free speech.
That, of course, means ACTUAL FREE speech, not what this guy — who’s in college — thinks it means:

In case you don’t wanna watch the whole thing, here’s the operative quote: “You know what’s…against the law? Hate speech.”
Rob knows better than that, hence his Friday tweet championing the First Amendment:
“Sorry to have to repeat this again: Free Speech is ALL speech. Even the speech that you find repugnant. You are either for ALL of it or…you are for none of it. We don’t need people deciding FOR us what to think, see or hear. That’s a load of totalitarian crap”
Sorry to have to repeat this again:
Free Speech is ALL speech.
Even the speech that you find repugnant. You are either for ALL of it or…
you are for none of it.
We don’t need people deciding FOR us what to think, see or hear.
That’s a load of totalitarian crap.— Rob Schneider (@RobSchneider) November 22, 2019
Rob, as it turns out, is leery of vaccines.
See for yourself:
Land of the Free?
“The governor has taken away my incredible healthy, beautiful daughter‘s right to attend school when he signed that bill,” said Megan Hill. “The FDA, the CDC, they all state there is risk to vaccines. If there is risk there must a choice.” https://t.co/LngT89VZ7g— Rob Schneider (@RobSchneider) November 23, 2019
He makes a good point about Democrats:

https://twitter.com/RobSchneider/status/1198858570957303808
He prefers to be au naturel:
Finally, a country takes action to protect it’s people and workers.
Wish we had a Government that did that. https://t.co/sroLI3dNKH— Rob Schneider (@RobSchneider) November 22, 2019
And he wants to be able to say what he thinks:

Amazon pulling books that espouse his point of view? He’s not a fan:
Amazon is already banning books that dare question medical orthodoxy. Facebook, Google, YouTube bury information as well.
The push within democratic societies to further restrict their own freedoms is a road we mustn’t take.— Rob Schneider (@RobSchneider) November 22, 2019
Whatever your thoughts on the issue of vaccinations, I believe he’s right about free speech and — not only its place in the Constitution, but — its importance in our society.
Free speech — in whatever room you’re in — encourages us to listen.
How else do we grow?
Here’s more from Rob:
I know Free Speech and Democracy create a mess out of society, people being able to express and spew whatever they want. But I can’t think of a better one. And I surely don’t want to live in a society where people decide for me what to think or watch or how I should interpret it.

He’s right.
Here is a good example of when the State (Iran) decides what Free Speech you’re allowed. If you AGREE with the State, you’re good!
If you don’t? Here’s what happens… https://t.co/DcXeqPz2Ml— Rob Schneider (@RobSchneider) November 25, 2019
It’s great to see someone in Hollywood wanting the channels of discussion to open rather than strangle those of particular views.
I’m grateful for Rob’s place in the entertainment industry. In addition to his championing of free expression, his comedy is silly and lacking in mean-spiritedness.
And honestly, the guy’s surprised me at times with his acting. If you haven’t checked it out, enjoy his remarkable turn in the fantastic Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore film 50 First Dates.
I’ll leave you with a few more bits of greatness from Rob:
Just bizarre. Progressive Democrats, who once stood for Civil Rights, Liberty,Free Speech now stand for censorship & removing parent rights
