On Wednesday, impeachment got a little more colorful.
A man from Asbury Park, New Jersey crashed the proceedings.
And what’s more: He’s a queen. Of the drag variety.
The blonde bouffant and very short dress entered the Longworth House Office Building to witness the hoopla.
Or to be it.
The man’s name also fit nicely beneath the bright yellow and red flag-tipped big top sheltering Trump’s phone call to Ukraine.
Have you ever seen the film Galaxy Quest? How about Josie & the Pussycats? Dodgeball? If so, you may be familiar with the — in my estimation, very good — comedic actress Missi Pyle:
Well, our wigged wonder seems to have borrowed Missi’s moniker and made a couple adjustments. How’s this for a first name?
Ladies and gentlemen, meet…

Or maybe she took it straight from the baby books.
But what the heck was she doing there?
Pissi Myles is broadcasting live from Longworth – about the impeachment hearings. “This is very important to the LGBTQ community,” she said. There have been #impeachment hearings here before but never as live and social media-fueled as these. @CBCTheNational pic.twitter.com/PAQzpg1dLZ

Democratic Illinois Rep. Jan Schakowsky was pleased as punch:

I’m in love with this happening.
The circus surrounding Dems’ Impeachment Mania — really, their anti-Trump crusade in general — is so suited for the pageantry of Pissi.
We could also use some seals balancing balls on their noses, a Calliope for the dancing bear, and maybe a few jugglers.
The whole show could already do with a ringmaster. Someone hand Pissi the mic.
As for you, the reader, enjoy watching a wanded Capitol Hill security guard make a memory. This one’s gonna last a while:

Just arrived for #ImpeachmentHearings
Someone did ask me last night if there’s anything in DC that surprises me anymore.

As it turns out, Pissi was reporting for Happs News.

According to Pissi’s husband, David Ayllon, the news outlet signed him up after seeing him perform over the weekend:
“They scouted him out at his Barracuda show on Sunday. I do know they were looking for a comedian who could improv on the spot and deliver the news in a fun way.”
Honestly, to me, this is just perfect.
The whole situation is perfectly Pissi.
