Wow — a fired-up woman crashed would-be gun confiscator Beto’s Newtown, Connecticut appearance to tell him he knows he’s “full of sh**.”
It must be a theme for the day — I just wrote about Geraldo’s call of “bullsh**” over congressional Dems’ impeachment mania (here).
Speaking of maniacs, Rebecca Carnes was revved — at a meeting between residents and members of the Newtown Action Alliance and Moms Demand Action.
And she wasted no time getting down to business:
“You’re here to hijack this town, and to try and make an issue out of getting guns out of good people’s hands that can make a difference, and you know that, Beto.”
To Rebecca, the real problem is mental illness.
And not only that, but mansphobia:
“[T]his is bullshit. It’s about mental health, and it’s about this war on boys and masculinity.”

The lady’s got fingers, and she ain’t afraid to point ’em:
“You’re bullsh** by being here. Shame on you, Beto.”
As for shame, Beto certainly should be embarrassed: He’s decided he should be the one to confiscate America’s most popular hunting rifle from its citizens, without even feeling the need to find out what it is — that’d be, a gun that isn’t anywhere to be seen in the vast majority of gun crime. And one that, despite his assertions to the contrary, is indeed used for hunting.
But I guess sometimes ya just gotta fight against something without ever finding out anything whatsoever about it.
Just ask this guy:
Back to Newtown — a community that saw evil take the lives of 28 people, including 20 elementary school children — Rebecca wanted to know what Beto had to say about mental issues. She also noted a major failure on the part of a certain party (it’s the Democrats) where guns and the inner city are concerned:
“What do you have to say about mental health? What do you have to say about urban violence? You don’t care. The Democrats have been in charge of urban communities and cities for decades. The Democrats have failed.”
Beto’s of the mindset, “If guns are outlawed, no outlaws will have guns.”
Here’s what he told the Washington Examiner:
“I see Americans complying with the law. I see us working with gun owners, non-gun owners, local, county, state, federal law enforcement to come up with the best possible solution. I have yet to meet an owner of an AR-15 who thinks it’s OK that we have these kind of mass killings in this country.”
Unfortunately for Beto’s vision of a solved problem, as previously indicated by all of reality, removing the AR-15, specifically, would have virtually zero impact on gun deaths. Most are caused by handguns, and in cases where AR-15’s have been employed, other firearms could’ve accomplished the same (or worse) carnage.
Hey, I just had an idea — if “Americans complying with the law” will fix it, why not just make mass murder against the law? Presto, Change-O.
O’Rourke’s more into O’robbery. Of AR-15’s.
And, oddly, he doesn’t seem to expect any blowback:
“How do you — how do we enforce any law? There’s a significant reliance on people complying with the law. You know that a law is not created in a vacuum.”
It may not be in a vaccum, but to Rebecca Carnes, it sucks.
