Samuel L. Jackson on the GOP: Trumpers are Destroying the Planet & the Right is Like the 1960s South

As an actor, I like Samuel Jackson. He’s great.

But according to him, you aren’t.

At least, not if you support Trump. And not where it concerns the environment.

In fact, y’all are destroyin’ the planet, ya earth-hatin’ jerks!

In an interview with Esquire, Sam didn’t beat around the bush — that y’all have probably already killed by now, by the way.

Esquire proposed, “You’ve been vocal about Trump. A lot of people have their beliefs but are careful about stating them, because they don’t want to jeopardize their career.”

Play it again, Sam:

“I think we feel the same way that all of the motherf*****s that hated Obama felt for eight years. So they said all that s***. They put f***ing pictures up on the Internet of Michelle sitting with her legs crossed with a d*** hanging down. We feel the same way that they feel or they felt about Obama being the man, even though he wasn’t f***ing ruining their lives; he was trying to help their lives.

“This motherf***** is like ruining the planet and all kinds of other crazy shit. And the people think that’s okay. It’s not f***ing okay. And if you’re not saying anything, then you’re complicit. And I wouldn’t give a f*** if I was a garbageman and I had a Twitter account; I’d tweet that s*** out. I’m not thinking about who I am and what my job is when I do that s***.”

Well there ya go.

What does Pulp Fiction’s Jules Winnfield think of the whole “shut up and act” directive? This:

“I know how many motherf***ers hate me. ‘I’m never going to see a Sam Jackson movie again.’ F*** I care? If you never went to another movie I did in my life, I’m not going to lose any money. I already cashed that check. F*** you. Burn up my videotapes. I don’t give a f***. ‘You’re an actor. Stick to acting.’ No, motherf***er. I’m a human being that feels a certain way. And some of this s*** does affect me, because if we don’t have health care, s***, and my relatives get sick, they’re going to call my rich a**. I want them to have health care. I want them to be able to take care of themselves. This is how I feel. And I count to one hundred some days before I hit “send,” because I know how that s*** is.”

Oh, and y’all are probably racist, too. He recalled segregationists from his southern upbringing:

“Trump and all those a**holes, Mitch McConnell. But they’re the same f***ing guys. And when I hear their voices, I hear the same voices. Those twangs where they didn’t specifically call you ‘n****r,’ they said ‘nigra.’ ‘The nigras.’ There was no doubt about where they stood, that you were never going to be their equal and, if possible, they were going to make sure you never had as much s*** as they had.”

But Sam seems to like Kurt Russell — the two worked together on Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight. For a view of the other side of political Hollywood, enjoy the great video of icon Kurt here. It’s fantastic.
