Praying mantis, sand tiger shark, Democrats: creatures who eat their own.

On Tuesday, Saira Rao — a “Justice Democrat” (like AOC) and former Colorado political candidate — called Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi a white supremacist.

Nice.

The attack was motivated by Saira’s defense of Rep. Ilham Omar and her controversial anti-Israel comments last week at a left-wing event.

Representative Ilhan Omar is again under fire for her terrible comments concerning Israel. Jewish groups have just sent a petition to Speaker Pelosi asking her to remove Omar from Foreign Relations Committee. A dark day for Israel!

Following the uproar, Pelosi allowed a vote on the House floor to condemn anti-Semitism.

Saira responded by comparing Nancy to David Duke:

“I am going to unfollow anyone who posts anything positive about Nancy Pelosi. Nancy Pelosi is a white feminist. White feminists are white supremacists. Nancy Pelosi is a white supremacist. And if you idolize Nancy Pelosi, you may as well declare allegiance to David Duke.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Saira wasn’t the only one: Anti-Semitic Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour also framed Nancy as a white feminist and tool of the patriarchy Wednesday (here and here):

“Nancy is a typical white feminist upholding the patriarchy doing the dirty work of powerful white men. God forbid the men are upset – no worries, Nancy to the rescue to stroke their egos.”

Back to Saira, is she relevant? Ladies and gentlemen, The Daily Wire:

Rao is, of course, merely a failed candidate. But she was part of the “Justice Democrats” movement that got the “new generation” of Democratic leaders — people like Omar, Ocasio-Cortez, and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — elected and is emblematic of the more progressive wing of the party, which is struggling to take the reins from people like Pelosi. Current and future candidates for House seats won’t be as likely to accept Pelosi’s leadership, it seems, as past generations.

Saira doubled down on Twitter after mostly-left-wing critics bit back:

“You do realize that you are complicit in the racism you are publicly condemning, right? You do realize brown and black people would greatly prefer that you OPENLY and BOLDLY call out racism when it happens rather than hold a vigil after the fact, right?”

How about THIS:

You are ALL complicit in racism when you segment, classify, prefer, accuse, degrade, promote, or regard people based on their race. Apply the same idea to sexism.

Easy peasy, praying mantises.

Oh, I forgot — some of y’all are against prayer.
