Who’s sneaking into the country? We don’t know.
Because they’re…sneaking.
But we’re aware of one: 34-year-old Wilfredo Perez-Aguilar.
Wilfredo was born in Guatemala, and he was arrested in California’s El Centro Sector of the border while trying to enter the country illegally. And yes — that would be “illegally,” despite the sensitivities of Ohio State professor — and (apparently) part-time magician — Victor Espinosa (here).
The Guatemalan was captured Monday, approximately 11 miles east of the Calexio Port of Entry, and Chief Patrol Agent Gloria I. Chavez was pleased, as she indicated in a statement from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
“I am proud of our Border Patrol agents for making this arrest.”
The main source of her pleasure, no doubt, was Wilfredo’s history: He’d sneaked into the U.S. before,
and while enjoying his stay, he’d sexually abused and raped a child under the age of 12. That was in 2005.
Subsequently, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
ONLY FIVE YEARS — that’s just slightly longer than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spent in college. The duration seems to’ve not been enough time for her to learn anything (here, here, and here); surely it wasn’t long enough for Wilfredo to learn much, either — including his lesson.
He was then kicked out of the America.
Agent Chavez continued:
“Deported sexual predators seeking to illegally enter the U.S. will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Why wasn’t he prosecuted to the fullest extent for rape? Or was he?
We’ve got some problems.
As reported by KESQ:
In fiscal year 2019, El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents have arrested and removed four convicted sex offenders attempting to enter the United States illegally.
