Trump Calls It -- a Red Wave, Thanks to 'the Caravan, Kavanaugh, Law & Order...and Common Sense'

Monday, Trump was on fire, Jack — and calling strikes strikes, with the gusto of Leslie Nielsen in The Naked Gun.

Speaking in Houston at a rally to boost “Beautiful Ted” Cruz as he battles Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, Donald hammered away at the mile-long missile headed for America — the infamous migrant caravan. In addressing the border-busting bullet, the President hit on — I believe — a perfect encapsulation of the impending November midterms.

Trump rightfully pointed out that the caravan is an attack on the most basic idea of having a country:

“[It’s] an assault on the sovereignty of the U.S. …. We have to protect our borders. (If) we don’t have borders, we don’t have a country. … Do you know how the caravan started? Does everybody know…? I think the Democrats had something to do with it… … We want people to come into our country … But they have to come in legally. And they have to come in through merit. Through merit.”

More profoundly, the Commander-in-Chief crystallized the reality of November’s ballot box.

“This will be the election of the caravan, Kavanaugh, law and order, tax cuts, and common sense. … Today’s [Democratic] Party would rather protect criminal aliens than American citizens, which is why the Democrats must be voted out of office. … The Democrats want to replace freedom with socialism. … And they want to replace the rule of law with the rule of the mob. … Democrats produce mobs; Republicans produce jobs.”

And that, ladies and gentlemen (excusing the corniness of his last line), are the words of a man with his finger on the pulse of a nation.

The Left has lost its cotton-pickin’ mind. Over and over since 2016’s presidential race, they have stunned and repulsed the populace. And they haven’t learned their lesson. Their continued hysteria, absurdity, radicalism, outrage, and incivility have perpetually pushed away voters.

They humiliated themselves leading up to the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh, from Hillary warning he would take us back to the days of slavery (here), to Alyssa Milano sitting behind Brett while visibly tweeting like an 11-year-old (here). GOP tax cuts benefitted the country, resulting in Nancy Pelosi first calling them Armageddon (here) then “pathetic crumbs,” whereas Obama took credit for the economic prosperity (here).

And the mobs — good LORD, the mobs — from little Tomi Lahren being attacked at a restaurant (here), to Sarah Sanders being treated like garbage (here), to Ted Cruz and his wife being harassed by people who don’t know the meanings of words (here)…all with the endorsement of Hillary (here), Maxine (here and here), and others…

And by the way: what’s going on with the Left and restaurants? Are they afraid of food for thought?

And what’s next? Bathroom stalls?

Then there are all the nutty people with kitten ears, rallying in myriad opportunities to appear breathtakingly irrational…

Add to that the socially bonkers infiltration of the public school system (here and here)…

Geez Louise.

The Left has a gun. They’re constantly triggered, but their holster seems too tight — they keep shooting themselves in the foot.

And the red wave just keeps looking more and more likely (see here).

Trump called it a long time ago (here), and he looks to still be on point. Do I predict Republicans will overwhelmingly sweep the elections? No. But history tells us — given the GOP victory two years ago — that the Dems should rally in a sizeable way. I believe somewhere out at sea, there’s a crimson tide crushing a wave of blue, stopping the rolling of what otherwise could have been, had the Democrats been able to get out of their own way.

November approaches. And thanks to “the caravan, Kavanaugh, law and order, tax cuts, and common sense” — not to mention the disturbing emergence of socialism (here and here) — as it pertains to tempering Democratic wins, it’s looking like Trump is right again.

Back to The Naked Gun, Lieutenant Frank Drebin may have to wait quite a while to see his greatest dreams come true:
