Finally!

It’s been a rough two years for the demure, elegant First Lady Trump. But Melania’s on the move, Jack!

On Friday, an SSR poll showed FLOTUS rallying with a 54% favorability. That’s up three points from June.

The lowest rating for Mrs. Trump was reached just after The Donald was crowned — I mean, inaugurated (sorry — I’ve been watching too much MSNBC) — at which time she was sitting at 36%.

But like the Jeffersons, she’s movin’ on up. And she’s downright stellar to the GOP — Republicans favor the former model to the tune of 83%, compared to 56% among Democrats.

The poll was taken during her trip to Africa, when — in an ABC interview — she espoused evidence over simply believing all women, a concept once known simply by the apparently-outdated term “justice.”

The View condemned her for that trumpeting of good sense rather than stupidity (covered here), because The View is harebrained.

Her lower June score was surely related to the media’s lashing in response to her “I Don’t Care, Do U?” shirt, worn as she boarded a plane to visit a Texas detention center.

In the ABC interview, Melania explained her choice of wardrobe that day:

“It was for the people, and for the left-wing media who are criticizing me, and I want to show them that I don’t care,” Melania told Llamas. “You could criticize whatever you want to say, but it will not stop me [from doing] what I feel is right.”

The Left has absolutely abused Melania from day one — in shameful and unprecedented ways — calling her horrible things from “dead inside” to a “hoebag” (here) to a “piece of sh**” (here). Fortunately for her, as is the case for her husband, America loves her much more than do the vicious Left.

And so, she’s at at 54% favorability.

While the Democrats are 100% daffy.
