Trump vs. Dems, 2020: Putting the 'Um' in 'Pendulum'

Politics are permanent.

Perhaps that’s the way things feel sometime…and look, no doubt, to those who have seen very little.

The reality, of course, is that the game of money and power known as politics rests on an ever-swinging pendulum.

When Barack Obama was elected, to hear the Left describe it, all the world’s troubles were over forever and ever. Just ask Jay-Z:

My president is black, but his house is all white
Rosa parks sat so Martin Luther could walk
Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could run
Barack Obama ran so all the children could fly
So I’ma spread my wings, you can meet me in the sky
I already got my own clothes, already got my own shoes
I was hot
Before Barack
Imagine what I’m gon’ do
Hello miss America
Hey pretty lady,
Red, white, and blue flag, wave for me, baby
Never thought I’d say this shit
Baby, I’m good
You can keep your ****
I don’t want no more Bush (sh*t)
No more war, no more Iraq
No more white lies, the president is black!

Uh, not so fast, Jay.

Fast forward eight years, and BOOM — SATAN FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

[See examples here, here, and here.]

Therefore, the fate of the free world hangs in the balance. Especially since President Donald “Treason” Trump is in charge.

Hence, those hoping to take the presidency in 2020 are looking to attack Trump by any means necessary.

Cases in point:

The President muffed it Monday, to be sure (covered here).

But as for the above potential candidates, do they have a chance?

Not according to Dennis Miller (see that here).

And, so far, not to me.

They’re going to have to come with something better than Kamala Harris, who doesn’t understand who wrote the Declaration of Independence (see here).

The same goes for Elizabeth Warren — she has the appeal of a wet sack (easily, mouth-smackingly apparent here). A wet sack that lies about being an Indian, that is (more about that here).

As for Bernie, I don’t see the pendulum swinging that far. The economy is good, unemployment is at a record low, and we have a capitalist in the White House. Why would America do an about-face toward economics-defying socialism, even given the ignorance of Millennials (shown here)?

Kirstin Gillibrand wants to eliminate ICE (see video below), as we come off of an election where America voted for a wall. So…no.

What do you think? Are there any real threats at this point? Could an Obama figure emerge in the next year?

Trump is a treasonous demon, but the country is doing well, despite the insane imaginings of the Left. From my view, it isn’t looking good for them (elaborated here as well, concerning congressional seats).

With regard to the Left’s breathtakingly unhinged and rising rhetoric, I fear for the President’s safety; but it seems to me that any further words or acts in that direction will ultimately worsen their case. Am I right? Please join the discussion in the Comments section below.
