On ABC’s This Week Sunday, former homeland security advisor Tom Bossert claimed President Trump’s recent executive order will “survive three weeks.”
Trump’s order collides with an Obama-era 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling, which stopped family detention and demanded separation so as to prohibit children from being imprisoned. This is at the heart of the left-wing stupidity over the issue to begin with, dishonestly blaming Trump for a practice which was dictated by the court — again, in defense of children (read more about the history of the law and its ramifications here and here).
Bossert seemed certain:
“This executive order the president put out to try to fix this problem is going to run headlong into the 9th Circuit judge that decided in 2015 that even detaining with parents is inhumane. She called President Obama’s policy of detaining children and parents together inhumane.”
It should be noted that Bossert’s date goes against my research, which shows the court ruling being handed down in February of 2016. Nonetheless, Bossert says Trump’s order is headed for cement shoes:
“There is no way this executive order survives first contact, because her view of President Trump will be harsher.”

This is the state of things, because idiocy and ignorance fill the heart of the war machine the media have become– they aren’t interested in truth, only triumph. Hence, border authorities followed the law (family separation) doled out by a left-wing court, only for the enforcement to be blamed on Trump by his left-wing opposition.
Why, media? Why????
We need another kind of separation in this country: that of the media, from partisanship. CNN and MSNBC need to split, in the way that MTV stopped playing music videos altogether, and then formed MTV2, which only played videos. The left-wing news companies should call themselves what they are: political activist organizations. They should remove any and all pretense of “news.” Beyond that, if the news industry interests them, they can create wholly new entities to that end (please read more about this here).
As for now, the nation is polluted. Not with the environmental agents which the Left perpetually decry, but rather, by the contamination of lies springing forth from the smokestacks of their deceit.
