BREAKING: New York AG Opens Inquiry into Trump Foundation - NBC

On Twitter, CNBC has reported that a source revealed to NBC that New York’s Attorney General is opening an “inquiry’ into the Trump Foundation.

It is also characterized by ABC News as a “broad” inquiry.

The foundation has been the subject of much inquiry, from the Pam Bondi donation to charitable contributions to IRS questions. Most of the sleuthing and reporting has been done by David Farenthold at the Washington Post. It is not reported at this time what this particular inquiry entails.

House Democrats have been looking into opening a Justice Department investigation into the Foundation.
