On Sunday, we brought you the stunning footage of nearly every type of fighter jet and bomber we have flying in formation over Miami Beach in a Memorial Day commemoration. If you haven’t seen some of the videos, watch now—you won’t be disappointed. The power of the display is awe-inspiring.
On Sunday evening, meanwhile, the Department of Defense dropped its own video to honor Memorial Day, and it too is awesome. Titled “Peace Through Strength” and narrated by DoD Secretary Pete Hegseth and President Donald Trump, it reminds us of what the military is for, how it lost its way in recent American history—and how Donald Trump and Co. are restoring it to its former glory.
It’s time to focus on the mission, the video said:
Declaring that America’s fighting men and women are “laser-focused on our mission,” the spot shows service members taking part in intense training drills and battlefield combat while dramatic music swells and excerpts from speeches delivered by Trump and Hegseth play in the background.
“No more distraction, no more electric tanks, no more gender confusion, no more climate change worship. We are laser-focused on our mission of warfighting,” the defense secretary proclaims.
Trump then declares that the US will measure military success “not only by the battles we win, but also by the wars we end.”

The SecDef honored the Americans who sacrifice for our nation:
In the spot, Hegseth also hails the “incredible” young men and women who are “giving up the best years of their lives” to serve their country.
“Through our power and might, we will lead the world to peace,” Trump crows. “Our friends will respect us. Our enemies will fear us, and the whole world will admire the unrivaled greatness of the United States military.
“We will replenish the pride of our armed forces, end the recruitment crisis.”
Recruitment has shot up among all branches of the military since Trump was elected and the Biden-Harris team was shown the door. The previous woke administration had so demolished the morale of our warriors that recruiting numbers were a disaster. Not anymore:

We honor all the fallen warriors who gave the ultimate sacrifice for America, and we pray for their families. One way to commemorate their lives and their deeds is to make the U.S. military great again, and that is exactly what Trump, Hegseth, and Co. are trying to do.
Have a blessed holiday.
