New: FDA Broadens COVID Vaccine Safety Review to Include Fatalities of Adults

The COVID-19 "crisis" has supposedly been over for a couple of years now, but we're still dealing with the aftermath. That aftermath includes over-enthusiastic politicians who saw the chance for a power grab, a vaccine developed and deployed in haste, a gross overestimation of the lethality of the pathogen, and, possibly, foreign involvement.

Now, as part of the ongoing investigation into the problems caused by all this, the FDA is expanding its query into deaths linked to the vaccine to include deaths of adults.

The Food and Drug Administration has expanded its investigation of deaths possibly linked to the Covid vaccine to include adults as well as children, according to a Trump administration official.

The inquiry began in September, spurred by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s repeated claims that the coronavirus vaccine is dangerous and deadly despite the widespread scientific consensus that the shots are safe.

At the time, the agency said that it was looking into children’s deaths, in apparent response to the vocal concerns of vaccine skeptics who are allies and supporters of Mr. Kennedy.

Here's where the study is expanding:

“F.D.A. is doing a thorough investigation, across multiple age groups, of deaths potentially related to Covid vaccines,” Andrew Nixon, a spokesman for the Department of Health and Human Services, said on Tuesday.

The broader review follows a memo in late November by Dr. Vinay Prasad, the F.D.A.’s top vaccine regulator, who informed staff members that the agency had linked about 10 children’s deaths to the Covid shots. He highlighted the dangers of myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart muscle, which the agency has for years cautioned is a rare but worrying side effect, especially 

Aside from the vaccine issue, which now seems to be drawing some very scrutiny, there are a lot of questions about this left unanswered - at least, officially. As we covered here at RedState at the time, there was a lot of discussion as to the source of the virus, and why, at the time, there seemed to be a moratorium on brains among anyone involved with the virus, its origins, or the reactions to it.

As for the myocarditis, this has been a side effect of the mRNA vaccines that has been widely discussed. 

Looking into the side effects of the vaccines is important. These vaccines were developed and deployed in haste, under an emergency use authorization, and it may be decades before we completely understand all of the problems they may have caused. Now, every vaccine, every medicine, every therapy ever devised can have side effects to a certain portion of the population. But this one was forced on people by governments around the world; people were unable to travel, unable to attend events, in some cases even unable to visit sick or dying family members, due to a dramatic overreaction to this virus. 

And there's this: We have a pretty darn good idea now where that virus originated, and why. And if that doesn't send a shiver down your spine, it should.
