Crazy: British NHS Pushing 'Gender Construction Kit' on Trans Patients

It's utterly amazing what the British taxpayer is on the hook for these days.

The United Kingdom has a publicly funded health care system called the National Health Service, or NHS. "Publicly funded" means "paid for by the taxpayers," and the poor taxpayers of the country that was once America, Original Recipe, are daily soaked for all manner of nonsense. So are we here in America, Bigger and Better, but at least our government under President Trump is trying to bring the more overt nonsense under control.

Not so in the UK. Now the taxpayers, via the NHS, are being soaked for transgender patients being advised to use "gender construction kits." It seems that there is no longer any semblance of a limit to how weird things can get.

The NHS is directing patients to use a 'gender construction kit' which advises them on how to use wigs and make-up to look like women.

It also offers tips on using nail varnish, eyelash extensions, perfume, and the correct underwear to transition to their desired gender.

The advice, which has been published on a website, lists different gender pronouns would-be transitioners could choose from, including the options 'Zie', 'Fae', and 'Spivak'.

The 'kit' also gives patients advice on the use of hormones to reduce body hair, suppress libido, and reduce fertility.

Get a load of those pronouns. I mean, "Zie," "Fae," and "Spivak?" Seriously? What in the world is "Spivak" supposed to mean?

But wait! There's more!

The kit seems to be encouraging readers, advising them to 'listen to your discomfort' adding: 'Are there things about your body that make you uncomfortable? Do you feel like something is wrong when you do something in particular?

'Perhaps you feel jealous that other people get to use clothes, names, or words that you can't, or unable to shake the feeling that you aren't the way other people see you?'

In the introduction to the kit, it states that these things can be changed, and suggests that patients 'try different underwear'.

All of this is treating these people like a jigsaw puzzle where all of the pieces are the same size and shape, varying only by color, in which anyone can assemble any pattern they like, with no need to produce anything that looks like anything real. It's a dress-up game on steroids - yes, that play on words is intentional - and best of all, when you look at the bottom of the page where this horse squeeze appears, you learn:

...it is not clear who exactly wrote the guidance, which is now being spread around the taxpayer-funded health service.

The website contains no official credits or mention of any individuals, stating only that it is 'made for UK queers by UK queers'.

Well, that makes it all right, then. (Yes, that's sarcasm.)

Let's set aside the whole taxpayer-funded angle of all this for a moment, as ridiculous as that is, and examine, for a moment, the medical malfeasance that's going on here. Not only are these treatments a violation of primum non nocere, but it's also a violation of medical ethics in the very activism represented. The push to look at this "gender construction kit" isn't the delivery of medical care. It's advocacy. Medical professionals are supposed to scrupulously examine the patient's presentation and history and present options for treatment; this does the opposite, presuming the history and directing the patient to an activist site that encourages them in denying reality.

In short, it's fraud. And that's where we come back to the taxpayer-funded angle, as the British taxpayers are on the hook for this fraud.

And remember: There is no idea from Europe's loony left that is so ridiculous that the loony left may not want to try it here next. That's why these events are worth noting and worth remembering; we must be on guard for any such attempts here.
