Hur Interview, Joe Biden's Decline Are Raising Serious Questions for GOP About the Autopen, Pardons

There are some truly disturbing facts coming to light right now, as we analyze the complete Special Counsel Robert Hur interview with then-President Joe Biden, how it reveals beyond the doubt of the most committed Democrat partisan that Joe Biden had slipped his clutches.

These developments also raise some serious questions about the supposed Joe Biden presidential pardons, in which he gave blanket pardons to several members of his own party (among others). Chief among these was Joe's ne'er-do-well son Hunter, who Joe gifted with a presidential pardon dating back to just after the end of the last Ice Age. The question on everyone's lips this weekend is this: Did Joe even know about these auto-pen signed pardons? And who actually wrote and auto-penned the pardons?

Sooner or later, this will come out, and it's beginning to look like sooner:

GOP House Oversight Committee Chairman and other Republicans are raising concerns about whether former President Joe Biden's cognitive functions were good enough to authorize aides to use an autopen tool to sign important documents on his behalf.

On Friday evening, Axios released exclusive audio footage of Biden's interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur, which reveals clues about Biden's cognitive functioning while president that the interview's transcript did not elucidate. Biden can be heard slurring his words, muttering and taking long pauses. Meanwhile, he failed to recall the date of his son Beau's death or the year Trump was first elected.

"It questions who was actually making the decisions," Rep. James Comer, R-Ky.,said Friday night on Fox News Channel's "Hannity."

"Clearly, from that interview, which was many, many months prior to the heavy use of the autopen, Joe Biden wasn't capable of making decisions. He wasn't coherent."

So the release of the complete Hur interview has set aside any claims from the left or the Biden family that Joe had any idea what was going on. He was, clearly, non compos mentis for (at least) the last year of his presidency; after his one disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump, not even most Democrats could deny that any more.

Which raises the question: Who was wielding the autopen?

Earlier Friday, Comer announced a new investigation trying to uncover who gave the orders to use the autopen. According to Comer, among other important things, the autopen tool was used to grant presidential pardons to Biden's family members.

"It does call into question these pardons – the use of autopen, and I think it may actually open the door – I'm not a lawyer – but I'd imagine Trump or his administration may try to make some arguments to federal courts about actions Joe Biden took because now we've got more information coming out, and they're reasonably going to determine, ‘Yeah Joe Biden couldn’t remember anything. He didn't even know when his son died, or when Trump got elected or when he left office," political commentator Tim Pool added.

Could this negate all of these Biden family pardons?

That, of course, remains to be seen, and this is an issue that may be years in the fighting, and will likely land in the Supreme Court. But think on this: If somehow the Biden family pardons are negated, and if any subsequent investigations reveal that, as we suspect, the Biden family's corruption was of a scale that would make Huey Long or Hillary Clinton blush, this could be a scandal that makes Watergate look like a parking ticket.

This involves the cover-up of the serious mental decline of a President of the United States. Bear in mind that the military was under the supposed command of someone who couldn't remember when his own son had died, someone who struggled to complete a coherent sentence. Bear in mind that the cover-up allowed persons unknown (as yet) to exercise a pardon authority that is constitutionally limited to the president. Bear in mind that this pardon authority was used to cover up and to protect these family members from consequences for a level of bribery and money laundering that is unprecedented in the history of these United States.

This rises well past the constitutional description of "high crimes and misdemeanors." This is fraud, this is deliberate deception, this is criminal activity at the very highest levels of the national government, and if anyone other than Joe Biden himself authorized these pardons, the scandal is magnified tenfold - and if Joe Biden did approve these, why were they signed with the autopen?
