This Is Who They're Trying to Protect: MS-13 Goblin Arrested in Maryland

Why have Democrats been, for so long, the party of covering for criminals? Note that the idiotic idolization of the self-appointed assassin Luigi Mangione has been the subject of, and it's entirely from the loony left - the same loony left that has driven the Democrat party so far from the realm of reality.

Only days ago, we saw that story of New Jersey members of Congress trying to push their way into an ICE facility housing the worst of the worst, and the Mayor of Newark was actually arrested for trespassing when he burst through the gate and refused to leave. They get crazier by the day; it seems that there is no goblin so horrible that Democrats won't defend him.

Democrats will run cover for gangsters, goons, and goblins of all kinds - goblins like this guy, Joel Armando Mejia-Benitez, a confirmed MS-13 member who was arrested in Silver Springs, Maryland, last week.

A heavily tattooed and “violent” MS-13 gangbanger wanted in his native El Salvador on a gun rap was nabbed in the US by federal immigration authorities — nearly 20 years after he was deported.
Joel Armando Mejia-Benitez, 38, was arrested in Silver Springs, Maryland, on May 5 by US Customs and Immigration Enforcement agents pending deportation proceedings, the agency said Friday.
Photos released by ICE show the migrant’s extensive gang tats, including “MS” on his chest, a horned skull on one shoulder over the words “Mara Salvatrucha” — MS-13’s name — and “Maryland” on his right forearm, signaling his allegiance to the vicious crew.

This isn't Mejia-Benetez's first rodeo; he's been deported before, making his presence in the United States now a felony.

Mejia-Benitez was arrested by the US Border Patrol in Texas on Nov. 22, 2004, and was ordered to be deported back to his native El Salvador on Dec. 14, 2005, according to ICE.
Federal agents took the illegal gangbanger into custody at the Prince George’s County Detention Center on Sept. 28, 2006, and shipped him back home two months later, ICE said.
Mejia-Benitez then snuck back into the US and was arrested again on March 20, 2014.
He was turned over to authorities in Silver Springs after that arrest and held, before he was taken into custody by ICE earlier this month for deportation, the feds said.

It's unclear what he was doing between March of 2014 and his arrest last week, but it's a safe bet that "authorities in Silver Springs[sic]" weren't holding him for 11 years.

So, how long will it be before Democrats are shouting their outrage over the arrest of Joel Armando Mejia-Benitez? Will they describe him simply as "Maryland Man," and ignore the gun charges in his home country, ignore his cascade of MS-13 tattoos, ignore his history of violence? Will Democrat nincompoops try to force their way into another ICE facility to make sure that this goblin has access to cable television and ice cream on demand? How long will it be before some Democrat notices that "Maryland" is misspelled on this goblin's arm, and uses that to claim that all of the tattoos are added digitally and not, as is certainly the case, the person who tattooed Mejia-Benetiz is only marginally literate?

Joel Armando Mejia-Benitez is the kind of person President Trump vowed to kick the hell out of our country. This is what we voted for. And the sooner Mejia-Benitez is in that notorious El Salvador prison, the better.
