Even CNN Has to Admit Trump Is Killing It, and It Is Killing Them

Love Donald Trump or not, you can't deny that the man has grit.

He made history by Grover Clevelanding himself into a non-consecutive second term, and when we reflect on the utter shambles the Biden administration made of things, it's easy to see why. In that election, he was fortunate in his adversary, the worse presidential candidate in history; Kamala Harris couldn't string together a coherent sentence if you spotted her two verbs and an article. She may have been even worse than Joe Biden would have been had he remained the candidate, dementia and all.

And, on taking office, he hit the ground running. Any caution he showed in his first term has been defenestrated, and now he has no you-know-what's left to give, and he's just steamrolling ahead. He's built a team of young, energetic, determined people who are solidly behind his policy plans - and even the legacy media is starting to give him credit for that.

CNN's Harry Enten is one of the more honest people working in the legacy media, and he's giving credit where credit is due.

Mr. Enten said:

I think there was this concern among some folks that Donald Trump would come in for a second term and kind of be a lame duck. He ain't no lame duck. If anything, he's a soaring eagle. What am I talking about, here? Let's talk about Trump executive orders in 2025. He's already signed 111 do far. That is the most at this point in a presidency in at least a hundred years. IN fact it's the most in any single year and we're only in April since Harry S. Truman in the early 1950s. The bottom line is whetehr you like Trump or you don't like him, you can't say that he's come in and not tried to deliver on what he at least believes was his promises on the campaign trail and he's doing so in history fashion.

When asked by CNN's Kate Bolduan how people are reacting to Trump's approach, Mr. Enten continued:

So, yeah, OK, Trump's approach here, talking about Trump's approach to presidential power, I think the American people here realize that what he's doing here is completely different. We're talking... Look at this. 86 percent of the American public agrees that Trump's approach to presidential power is completely different from past presidents, compared to only 14 percent who believe that it is inline with presidents. And we're talking about at least 79 percent of Democrats, independents, and Republicans. So again, you can agree, or you can disagree with Donald Trump, but what you can't disagree with, is that he's doing things very differently. I have used the Frank Sinatra quote before, he is doing it, quote/unquote, "my way," and that is what Donald Trump has done throughout both of his presidential terms, and he's certainly doing that, Kate Bolduan, in term number two.

Look at the expression on Kate Bolduan's face. She clearly does not like this.

Like it or not, even the legacy media is starting to figure out that, whether everything in the Trump agenda succeeds or not, Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear that he is on his chosen path and he won't be dissuaded. And I will disagree with Harry Enten here on one thing when he says,"...that is what Donald Trump has done throughout both of his presidential terms." He's only partially correct here.

The fact is, Trump II, Return of MAGA, has been much more aggressive, much more focused and showed not only disregard for the left and especially Congressional Democrats, but at times, he has shown outright contempt. It's as though he took that infamous moment when Barack Obama looked at a group of Congressional Republicans after his inauguration and said, "I won." The only difference is that the president has scaled that attitude up to Trumpian proportions. If any Democrats choose to get on board with the Trump agenda, he would welcome them, but otherwise, he's going to run them over like a steamroller.

Now, the midterms are not nearly as far away as we'd like to think, and there can be no doubt Democrats are making plans. We had better be doing the same, and everyone who doesn't want a return to the Biden era, or worse, had better plan on crawling on their hands and knees through a mile of scrap iron and busted glass to vote if that's what it takes. But in the meantime, the Trump administration is going to get as much done as they can, as fast as they can, and nobody can deny this anymore.

Even the legacy media has to admit that Donald Trump is crushing this second term - and I'm loving it.
