Fox News' Bill Melugin's X post reads in full:

BREAKING: US Marshals announce the arrest of a Tren de Aragua fugitive gang member who is wanted in Chicago for two counts of murder, and kidnapping. Police say Ricardo Gonzalez kidnapped three women, took them into a Chicago alley, and shot them all in the head, killing two.

U.S. Marshals found & arrested him in Cobb County, Georgia, where he is currently jailed and awaiting extradition to Chicago.

At this juncture, we won't speculate as to what happens to Ricardo Gonzalez in Chicago's justice system. But the United States Department of Justice has some more information on this goblin:

Ricardo Gonzales, 32, had an arrest warrant from the Chicago Police Department for kidnapping and is wanted on probable cause for two counts of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. These charges stem from an incident on January 28 where Gonzalez is accused of kidnapping three female victims and taking them to an alley in Chicago where they were all shot in the head. Two were pronounced dead on the scene and the surviving victim was able to escape and call 911.

“This defendant’s crimes against American women are horrific, and he is exactly the type of Alien Enemy the Trump administration is fighting to remove from this country in order to make America safe again,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi.

“This case is a reflection of the tireless work the U.S. Marshal Service and partnering agencies put in to make sure justice has its day in court,” said USMS Acting Director Mark Pittella. “Every arrest contributes to safer communities and demonstrates our unwavering commitment to protecting the public.”

Five other people were detained at the same time, presumably, they were in the country illegally, as the DoJ notes they were handed over to Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).

There is no indication as to Gonzalez's immigration status at the time of his arrest, nor is there any information readily available on when he entered the United States, but his status as a Tren de Aragua member warrants his removal from the country, after whatever prison sentence he may receive in Illinois.

That's the appropriate order of events, as well; any such perp facing serious charges in an American jurisdiction should face those charges first, then be repatriated (or dropped into that El Salvadorian prison) after our justice system is done with them. In this case, the families of the two women Ricardo Gonzalez heartlessly murdered deserve that much.

Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
