Here's Your Sign Pandemic Censorship Is Dead: JD Vance, Elon Musk Highlight COVID Vaccine After Effects

Many people have recounted tales of the varied after-effects of the COVID-19 vaccines. Symptoms vary from person to person, but it sure seems like a lot of people suffer from them - and we're likely to hear a lot more of these stories since Biden-era censorship is no longer in play.

This week, two rather high-profile accounts have relayed their experiences: Elon Musk and Vice President JD Vance.

I had a similar experience.

Elon Musk's post states in full:

That said, synthetic mRNA has a lot of potential to cure cancer and other diseases. Research should continue.

He is responding to an account from the vice president:

Vice President Vance says in part:

"I took the vax, and, you know, I haven't been boosted or anything. But the the moment where I really started to get red pilled on the whole vaxx thing was the sickest that I have been in the last fifteen years by far was when I took the vaccine. And I, you know, I've had COVID at this point five times. I was in bed for two days. My heart was racing."

These accounts seem to mirror the effects related by many Americans.

I'm one of them.

With a background in biology, I was skeptical of the COVID-19 vaccines. Having had a career in medical manufacturing and biotech I knew a lot of people, including some who were involved in the development of one of the mRNA vaccines - and these people were rather tight-lipped about the development of and Emergency Use Authorization for these treatments.

I've never had COVID - that I'm aware of, at least; some people do have the virus without showing symptoms. When the vaccine push was on, I found myself between Scylla and Charybdis; my consulting business was still going, which required international travel, and several places I had regularly done business - Japan, for example - wouldn't let me in unless I took the vaccine. Being barred from those clients would have cost me a great portion of my income.

So, I took the vaccine, the Moderna two-parter. The first jab went fine; no soreness, no effects. I figured this wasn't a big deal. But the second part? My arm, at the injection site, turned red and hot. The day after the injection I was very sick for about two hours with severe abdominal cramping, hot flashes, and flop sweats. After two hours I was on the edge of calling 911 - and then the symptoms subsided and didn't return.

I've never taken a booster and never will. Not after that experience. To this day, to my knowledge, I've never had the COVID virus. (There are some advantages to living way out in the boonies.) In hindsight, if I'd known then what I know now, I wouldn't have taken the damn thing. But we all make decisions with the information we have available at the time. Elon Musk did so; so did the vice president. We all did. And we can hope that the medical community learned a thing or two as well, especially about rushing new therapies into use, even in an emergency.
