The Trump-Vance campaign has filed a lawsuit over apparent voter suppression in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The lawsuit alleges that early voters were pushed out of line and told to come back at a later time. Bucks County is in the Philadelphia area and went to Joe Biden in the 2020 election by a relatively narrow margin of 51.7 - 47.3 percent.
An email sent Wednesday from the Trump/Vance campaign reads:
The Trump-Vance Campaign filed a lawsuit against Bucks County, Pennsylvania for turning away voters. This is a direct violation of Pennsylvanians' rights to cast their ballot - and all voters have a right to STAY in line.
The Pennsylvania Department of State made clear if voters are in line at a county elections office by 5:00PM, the counties MUST give voters the opportunity to apply for their mail-in ballot. Pennsylvania voters were turned away as early as 2:30PM.
Yesterday, Kamala delivered a speech of falsehoods in Washington, DC claiming Republicans are a threat to democracy--while her allies in battleground Pennsylvania are actively turning away voters.
This is against the law. This is voter suppression from the left. We will fight for every legal vote in Pennsylvania. Go vote, and stay in line!
Do not let election officials turn you away. If you are turned away, submit a report to our lawyers here: https://pennsylvania.protectthevote.com/hc

There’s been lines like this for days across counties in PA. Only for elections officials to come out and push people out of line and tell them to come back.

The Pennsylvania Department of State has issued a statement assuring voters that, as long as they are in line by 5 PM, they will be allowed to vote.
If you are in line at a county elections office tonight at 5 p.m. to apply for your mail-in ballot, counties must give you an opportunity to do so. Our team continues to work with all counties to ensure every eligible voter who wants to vote by mail ballot is able to. https://t.co/Px4MfTo0eQ

Bucks County would appear to be a close-run jurisdiction, and Pennsylvania is a must-have swing state for both campaigns. Donald Trump's and Kamala Harris's campaigns have been hitting the Keystone State hard.

Pennsylvania is not only a swing state, depending on how Georgia, North Carolina, and the Rust Belt states play out, it may be the swing state that decides the election. It's a must-have for both campaigns, although while Donald Trump can lose Pennsylvania and make it up elsewhere, it would be a lot easier for the Trump team with PA's 19 electoral votes in the bag - and without PA, the Harris campaign is essentially cooked. Whoever takes Pennsylvania will likely win the election.
As of this writing, Donald Trump is leading Kamala Harris in the state in the RealClearPolitics average, 48.1 to 47.5. That's a squeaker by any measure, making this election integrity effort all the more vital.
This is a developing situation. As always, we will watch and bring you updates as events warrant.
