In the summer of 2019, when the Democratic primaries were underway, Hunter Biden was receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars. By wire transfer. To Joe Biden's Delaware address.

Hunter Biden received wires originating in Beijing for more than $250,000 from Chinese business partners during the summer of 2019—wires that listed the Delaware home of Joe Biden as the beneficiary address for the funds, Fox News Digital has learned.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., has been investigating the Biden family business dealings and Joe Biden’s alleged involvement in those ventures.

As part of the investigation, Comer subpoenaed financial records related to a specific bank account and received records of two wires originating from Beijing, China and linked to BHR Partners.

BHR Partners is a joint-venture between Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca and Chinese investment firm Bohai Capital. BHR Partners is a Beijing-backed private equity firm controlled by Bank of China Limited. Hunter Biden sat on the Board of Directors of BHR Partners.

Both the Oversight Committee and Rep. James Comer have announced the discovery on X:

Let's take a trip down Memory Lane. During the 2020 election, now-President Joe Biden insisted that his son Hunter never received any money from China. That was clearly not true; the Oversight Committee has the receipts.

These transfers did take place, and they were for substantial amounts:

The first wire sent to Hunter Biden, dated July 26, 2019, was for $10,000 from an individual named Ms. Wang Xin. There is a Ms. Wang Xin listed on the website for BHR Partners. It is unclear if the wire came from that Wang Xin.

The second wire transfer sent to Hunter Biden, dated August 2, 2019, was for $250,000 from Li Xiang Sheng—also known as Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR Partners—and Ms. Tan Ling. The committee is trying to identify Ling’s role.

The beneficiary for the wires is listed as Robert Hunter Biden, with the address "1209 Barley Mill Rd." In Wilmington, Delaware. That address is the main residence for Joe Biden.

One has to ask: What did this mysterious Chinese company receive in turn?

Chinese companies - by which one can assume we mean the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) since nothing happens in the Middle Kingdom without the CCP's approval - don't part with that much money without receiving something in return. And the timing of the wires is also significant:

The wires were sent just several months after then-Vice President Joe Biden announced his 2020 presidential campaign. Joe Biden, in August 2019, said he "never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period."

Clearly, Joe Biden was not being entirely forthcoming in that statement. It staggers belief to think that the Big Guy inexplicably did not know that his ne'er-do-well son was suddenly receiving an increment of hundreds of thousands of dollars, nor that the CCP, acting through BHR Partners, would not be expecting something in return.

Joe Biden wrote at least one letter of recommendation to Brown University for the son of Li Xiang Sheng/Jonathan Li. That seems like a small ask in return for (at least) $260,000. It remains to be seen what else BHR Partners may have received from the Biden family, from the Biden administration, from Hunter Biden or Joe Biden, aside from a brief telephone discussion of the weather. What we do know is this: The Biden family, in general, and Joe Biden, in particular, have been lying about these payments since at least 2019. And the flows of cash have not just come from China. Additionally, we have seen that the Biden family was also involved tangentially with Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who is embroiled in a corruption scandal of his own involving Spanish interests.

The first House of Representatives impeachment inquiry hearing is currently scheduled for this Thursday (September 28th).

As someone was once rumored to have said, and I paraphrase, "This is a big effing deal."
