Elissa Slotkin Is Hitting the Road AOC-Style to Rally Democrats to Fight Trump, GOP Until Midterms

We are now fully involved in the lead-up to the midterm elections in 2026. If you're still wondering why (because the November election was just a couple of months back), you may want to skip this article.

In the world of the interwebs, elections are constant in our lives.

Our story today is about the struggle as to who will lead the Democrat Party into the midterm elections next year.

From my colleague Chase Jennings, AOC Is Sanders 2.0 and We Should All Be Grateful, part of his post about Bernie and AOC in Iowa living the socialist dream:

A new video released by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) sure does look to preview her as a possible presidential hopeful for Democrats in 2028. AOC is looking to take the reins of the socialist side of the party from Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT)—and it looks as if, at the moment, he’s happy to oblige. I would put a lot of money down betting that Rep. Ocasio-Cortez will run for president—I’m just not convinced it will be this time around, but she has her eyes on that prize eventually.

The problem for AOC is similar to the problems former VP Kamala Harris faced. She’s advocated for such insane policies over her career that it’ll be hard to backtrack on those. She’s popular, but she’s popular with the antisemites and eco-left. It’ll be hard for her to build a middle coalition and nearly impossible to pull over Republicans.

All true and quite heartwarming...

In the presidential seeming video her team released, she is seen with big smiles and shaking supporters' hands. Senator Sanders is by her side at times, seemingly passing the baton. In the dubbed voice-over, AOC can be heard highlighting where she’s from, discussing what divides us. It’s all very reminiscent of how President Obama got his start. However, President Obama ended up being one of the most divisive leaders we’ve had. Of course, he’s still dividing to this day.

As I reminded everyone almost three years ago, AOC has been a divider-in-chief since she arrived in Congress to tick off Nancy Pelosi. One of her first proclamations before finding out where the bathrooms and the fire escape were was to announce we only have (had) 12 years left on Earth.

The youngest woman ever elected to Congress again made headlines and sparked conservative criticism when she said Monday that she and other young Americans fear “the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., made the remark during an interview with writer Ta-Nehisi Coates at the MLK Now event in New York City celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

Ocasio-Cortez called the fight to mitigate the effects of climate change her generation’s “World War II.”

“Millennials and Gen Z and all these folks that come after us are looking up, and we’re like, ‘The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change, and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?’ ” she said.

So we only have 2,098 days until January 22nd, 2031 (which is 12 years from her original starting point), which means we have just over 5.5 years left.

Thankfully, the common-sense Democrat is stepping up to lead the party while Bernie and Alexandria raise money to fight the oligarchs. Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin has taken the time to not care about how the Senate works to step up to the plate.

She is a bit saucy about it, which will only lend her some street cred.

According to Politico, Slotkin is preparing to make speeches regarding a "war plan" to "contain and defeat Donald Trump."

In her prepared remarks as viewed by Politico in a recorded dry-run, Slotkin will speak to potential voters on the road highlighting the public's view of the party as "weak and woke."

She will urge her Democratic colleagues to "f****** retake the flag" and adopt "the goddamn Alpha energy," like Dan Campbell, NFL head coach of the Detroit Lions, and air out potential 2028 presidential candidates in an open primary, Politico reports.

While speaking to Politico ahead of the speech, Slotkin was unsure if she would ultimately call it a "war plan," adding that the verbiage is "a military-style operational plan. I don't understand how to rally us into a coherent approach if we aren't on the same page on where we're going."

Hold on, Elissa.

Are you sure you want to be talking about women taking the alpha energy to get into a political fight? I'm trying to think how well that worked with men pretending to be women in sports in somewhat of a similar regard.

Anyone?

I do love the fact that she is also hitching on to the head coach of the Detroit Lions' success and using some of his verbiage to try to rally the troops to her cause. I'm sure that will play well in Michigan to Detroit Lions fans, but she'll need to expand that if she takes this act on the road.

Now, what I really think is going on here, because of comments that I have heard from people who at least seem like they're in the know in DC, Slotkin was a firm believer in Nancy Pelosi and her leadership in the House of Representatives while Slotkin was there until earlier this year.

Anyone in the former speaker's orbit knows how she despises Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and that AOC is running around the country unabated right now with Uncle Bernie and getting large crowds. Their limited message is directed at the radicals, and the Slotkin crowd feels we can't have crazy Bernie and his crazy granddaughter wanna be leading the party.

All of Slotkin's campaigns have been about her presenting herself as a middle-of-the-road Democrat. So whether she has been asked to lead this charge or has taken it of her own volition, we will find out soon enough.

The Democrat Party is badly beaten right now, but it is not dead. So get ready for them to retool and prepare like mad for the 2026 midterms because this is exactly what this is about.

So get ready to rock n roll.

Editor's Note: The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.
