Trump Torches the Biden Administration Over Cuba in Newly Released Statement

Some days you just have to sit back and marvel at how a 75-year-old former President of the United States has the stamina to follow all the news, plan on campaigning for his party in 2022, and release statements on anything that crosses his mind.

As of today, he is up to seven statements and we still have hours to go.

In typical Trump fashion #POTUS45 spared no words in describing how Biden and his team are fumbling through this amazing opportunity to support the Cuban people in their time of need.

From “The Don” and his Save America email…

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

The proud people of Cuba are desperate to be free from the iron boot heel of the Island’s wicked Communist Regime. These incredible warriors for freedom risk everything to take to the streets in their quest for freedom. I stand in total solidarity with the freedom fighters in Cuba and the brave Cuban Americans who have watched their families suffer in the motherland at the hands of this heartless and brutal regime.

The Biden Administration’s refusal to forcefully condemn Communism and the Cuban Communist Regime is a national travesty. The Biden Administration’s ludicrous suggestion that the Cubans are protesting government mismanagement—not brutal Communist oppression—is an insult to every Cuban patriot who has suffered, been imprisoned, or died in pursuit of freedom.

Today’s Democrat Party is so far left they can’t even take a stand against violent Communism. Many are Communists themselves!

As President, I advanced a strategic vision in which the people of Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua would be free, and that the Western Hemisphere would be the first fully free hemisphere in all of human history. The Biden Administration is squandering a historic opportunity to stand for freedom and human rights in our home region. The Biden Administration is betraying the freedom-loving people of Cuba. I fought for Cuba, they didn’t.

Unlike when you read a statement or tweet by some politicians and think to yourself, “They didn’t write that,” when you read something by Trump, you know it was him.

Trump is absolutely correct here in calling out the Biden administration for having trouble even coming close to uttering the words Communism or Socialism and acknowledge the courage of the protesters that marched last weekend  90 miles south of Florida.

There was a time in the not too distant past that President Biden’s role model, the late Democratic icon Robert F. Kennedy and his brother, the President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, supported a free and prosperous Cuba. I can only imagine how they would have spoken out in support of the people trying to better their lives instead of what we have now. A White House that does not want to alienate their most vocal supporters and critics. Communists and Socialists in their own party.

Joe would rather eat a whole gallon of ice cream at one sitting and get a bellyache than tick off the bartender from the Bronx and her motley crew and get a headache. In a way, I don’t blame him, but JFK would have never allowed that to happen. Right?

Florida for the past couple of POTUS election cycles has gone to the Republicans but it has never been a shoo-in. With Trump now residing full-time in Florida and doing layups with this foreign policy gaffe from Joe & Crew, I’m willing to say Florida moves more solidly into the red column. That is good news for Governor DeSantis running for re-election next year and for a possible Trump run for the White House in 2024.

Let’s hope that even though the current administration is asleep at the wheel on this and many other things the specter of Donald Trump just out there hammering them will move them a bit in the right direction.

Hopefully.
