Ahhh the crazy is in the air. Can you feel it?

If you can’t feel it, then you sure as hell can see and hear it as the Democratic party is letting the crazy people in the party run wild. Of course, Maxine Waters and Rashida Tlaib are not really crazy; they know EXACTLY what they are doing and no one with a letter D after their name will dare stop them.

I’m sure it is because of tolerance or something.

The Police Chief for the City of Detroit is not a politician but a political appointee, and he seems to have heard enough from the Dynamic Duo of Verbal Diarrhea. He is not happy with the “Get rid of cops” rhetoric coming from Congressperson Tlaib and Rep. Waters encouraging people to riot if a guilty verdict in the Chauvin trial is not given.

I, for one, am glad.

He offered to throw Tlaib a going away party if she stepped down from her district that covers part of the City that Craig serves as Chief. From the New York Post:

Detroit’s police chief said he would “love” to see Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib step down after her call for abolishing police departments following the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright during a traffic stop in Minnesota.

“I’d love to see her resign, I’d throw her a goodbye party,” Chief James Craig told the Fox 2 TV station in Detroit of Tlaib (D-Mich.) on Sunday. “Let her go. … Let me just say this, when you talk about abolishing police, incarceration, you talk about safe cities – what do you think the residents in Detroit want?”

“If I made comments on par with hers, they’d be calling for my resignation,” he said.

If the Chief made comments that came anywhere CLOSE to what Tlaib said the city would be under a siege and of course stuff would be looted and burned because of justice or something. If you don’t recall what Tlaib said:

“I am done with those who condone government-funded murder. No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed,” she continued, reiterating her position that the police, as currently trained, cannot protect their communities and must be defunded and replaced.​

So just abolish the police? That sure makes sense particularly when Maxine Waters DEMANDED police protection after she went to Minnesota this past weekend and used some inflammatory language. If you need police protection while fanning flames of division but the police are not there, then who do you turn to? I’m sure Rashida and Maxine never thought that part out.

Speaking of Maxine, Chief Craig took umbrage with her comments, too:

James also had choice words for Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), who stood among protesters in Minnesota early Sunday and told them to “get more confrontational” if former police officer Derek Chauvin is acquitted in the killing of George Floyd.

“I will not let someone like a Tlaib or a Maxine Waters paint our profession with a broad brush. Are you aware of what the other US rep said as recently as yesterday? You know what she said in response to Brooklyn Center? … ‘Get more confrontational,’” Craig said.

I’m sure to get conformational meant that she was suggesting those who would be upset about any verdict should get involved politically and run for office. If not exactly then it must be pretty close.

This is never a two-way street with those in the Democratic party. Nancy Pelosi almost lost her flask after hearing what Donald Trump said on the Sixth of January when he said to march to the Capitol to have your voices heard. She was so enraged that they had to make history and impeach DJT for a second time and once again fail to remove him.

Now, what will happen with Maxine? Nancy thinks Waters has said and done nothing wrong and should not apologize for using her first amendment right to stir up some trouble. Pelosi is on her last term and just does not care about what tatters she and her henchwoman for all these years leave the Congrees. Maybe she never did care.

Thankfully Detroit Police Chief James Craig is willing to stand up to these people who know damn well what they are doing for political purposes to inflame the mob. After all, he and his fellow officers across the country will be the ones on the front lines dealing with the mess these elected dopes make.
