I CAN SEE THE WHITE HOUSE FROM HERE

Bernie Bro’s UNITE!! Your leader has officially made the announcement you have all been waiting for. He will attempt to move into free housing on Jan 20, 2021, and provide the same for all of you soon after.

Bernie Sanders made it official on NPR/Pravda radio in Vermont this morning that the maple syrup would not be the only thing running in Vermont this year.

According to CNN…

After months of deliberation, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders announced Tuesday that he is running for president again in 2020. It will be Sanders’ second consecutive bid for the Democratic nomination after losing to Hillary Clinton in 2016.

“What I promise to do is, as I go around the country, is to take the values that all of us in Vermont are proud of — our belief in justice, in community, in grassroots politics and town meetings — that’s what I’m going to carry all over this country,” Sanders said in his announcement on Vermont Public Radio Tuesday morning.

Sanders enters the 2020 race as one of the frontrunners — a remarkable turn for the democratic socialist who, three years ago, was viewed as a protest candidate from the political fringe. Today, Sanders is one of the most popular politicians among Democratic voters and his policy agenda — a suite of progressive proposals to expand health care, broaden the social safety net and make higher education free — has been embraced by many of the Democratic party’s leading figures.

That first sentence in the CNN story should actually say “After years of stewing over getting robbed by Hillary Clinton,” because we all know the DNC and Clinton, Inc., robbed this guy back in 2016. Bernie should have won that nomination and he and his crew have been plotting this ever since. Hat tip to Donna Brazille for spilling the beans on that mess.

However, even though he was defeated 3 years ago, his ideas have found a foothold and a spotlight with the recent rising to national prominence of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others in the socialist army he has inspired. He may have failed in 2016 personally but his message of “spread the poverty and eat anyone successful” got out.

Bernie may have been the Pied Piper but he now enters a field that will smile politely at him but will try to take Granddad’s knees out from underneath him to win the nomination. Sanders would be almost 80 years of age if he were to win the election and take the oath of office in 2021. Don’t think for a minute that the much younger candidates are not going to make sly references to that during the primaries.

If the country is to get over this fever of socialist/progressive nonsense then we must face this movement head-on and Sanders is the leader of it for the moment. I personally look forward to him on the campaign trail and Larry David playing him on Saturday Night Live.

Now we just need to Joe Biden to jump in and Santa will have FINALLY delivered all my gifts from last year!!
