The Department of Justice has confirmed that a suspect has been arrested for terrorist activity in relation to the mail bombs that have been sent over the past 3 days.

A suspect has been arrested in Florida in the investigation into suspicious packages that were sent to prominent critics of President Donald Trump, according to reports.

Sarah Isgur Flores, director of public affairs at the Department of Justice, confirmed the news on Twitter: “We can confirm one person is in custody,” Flores tweeted.

She said there will be a press conference at 2:30 p.m.

Allegedly the suspect is a white male in his 50’s that lives in Florida but has been a resident of the State of New York.
