Why Are Schools Letting Grown Men Share Classrooms With Teen Girls?

What Genius Thought Letting Adult Illegals Into High School Was a Good Idea?

Welcome back to Smart Girl Politics. I am your host, Teri Christoph. Thrilled to be back with you. There is an insane law here in Virginia that is allowing, not just allowing, like physically placing grown men, illegal men, into high school classrooms with teen girls. So what could possibly go wrong? We know what could go wrong. There is an illegal, a 19-year-old illegal, who's who's currently sitting in jail in Fairfax County for allegations that he groped at least nine girls in the hallways of Fairfax County High School.

I got an update to that story, so hang on for that one. Also want to talk about the grotesque actions of Democrat mayor, Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson, who not even a week after the just absolutely senseless murder of 18 year old college student Sheridan Gorman, pulled a sick and cruel political stunt. So we want to talk about that. It's a little bit of what I would call post-mortem bullying, post-death, it's sick. It's a sick, sick action by a man who's supposed to be running the city, but who is basically enabling illegals to kill college girls. So we'll talk about that. Again, I am Terry Christoph. This is Smart Girl Politics. Let's dive in.

All right, we need to talk about this law that is allowing, it's really putting girls, teen girls in danger because we have a system where illegals who are here and need English as a second language instruction are allowed to stay in high school until the age of 22, which basically is putting too often grown men, men of the age of 22 into classrooms with teen girls.

Now this is a problem because we talked about last week, Israel Flores Ortiz, a 19-year-old Venezuelan and illegal who's been here, I don't know, for two or three years, who should not be here, but not only is here, was put into Fairfax County High School and is allowed to stay there. He's a junior, he's a 19-year-old junior. He can stay till he's 22 because he is classified as English as a second language.

I'm not new to this whole situation either. I have to wonder how many times we are putting grown men into classrooms with girls who are almost a decade younger than them. This guy got caught. How many didn't? How many haven't? How many are still there? What are we doing?

Yeah, I want to stop there because I want to note from what we talked about last time when we bringing you this story initially is that the nine girls, at least nine girls, it's kind of fuzzy on how many victims there were of Israel Flores Ortiz. They have been saying this entire school year, according to the mothers, the entire school year, they've been telling the administration that this guy has been groping them and there's been some rather graphic descriptions of what groping meant and it wasn't a smack on the butt. wasn't just some, you know, playing that maybe went too far. It was physically groping. This is a 19 year old man. I don't know how old the girls were, but they were definitely minors who I don't want to use the word so much because I have teen girls. have a teen girl and it makes me sick to my stomach, but he very obviously put his hands between their legs. We'll just go with that. So grotesque. And they've been telling the administration all school year about this and we are in March and only now only in March is something being done about it. That is why we have to ask the question what's happening in this school other high schools in Fairfax County honestly throughout the state because this is a statewide policy where ESL English as a second language students can stay at older 22.

It doesn't though, because just back to that point, these girls have been saying this for months and months and months and they were ignored. So how many, if they'd taken it seriously, if the administration, if the sheriff's office, if the prosecutor's office of Fairfax County had taken this seriously, how many of these incidents could have been avoided? How many of these girls could have just gone and had a really nice high school experience this year? There's at least nine who haven't had a good one and it could have been stopped and it shouldn't have happened.

So here, I wrote about it yesterday over at Red State, and I want to tell you a little bit more about what this law is. It is Virginia Code 22.1 2-5, which allows English as a second language students to remain in high school until their 22nd birthday, provided they entered the United States after the age of 12.

Now, if you've had a child in school in Virginia Public School in recent years, particularly where I am in the northern part of the state, you'll be well aware of the fact that ESL students are an ever growing number. They are increasing in numbers and the amount of resources that are diverted to handle ESL students. It's getting quite burdensome.

So it's a DEI exercise that is being undertaken across schools in Virginia. Nobody's against helping ESL students learn to speak English. We're all better for that if everybody is speaking a common language. Fairfax County has adult education classes. Why aren't we not putting adults in with the adults and letting the teens be with the teens? That would at least cut down on predatory practices, but they don't care. I don't think this is going to stop anytime soon because we have a prosecutor, Steve Descano in Fairfax, who doesn't want to prosecute these illegals when they do stuff bad. He wants them right back out there. The more chaos that he can foment, the more power he can grab. And that puts everybody in danger. And the sheriff's office, they won't work with ICE. Abigail Spanberger has made sure that law enforcement that doesn't want to work with ICE doesn't have to work with ICE.

So Fairfax County is not going to let ICE know if they have plans to release this predator back into the community. So that's where we're at. That's what we get when we elect Democrats. And it's an insane how many girls out there are being groped and how many girls out there are in danger because they are in classes with 22 year old men who are here illegally. We don't know a thing about them. They haven't been vetted. They were just crossing the border. Joe Biden's like, tick. Come on in, come on in, so.

Alright, I will stay on the story for a while because as a mother of girls, they're a little bit older now, but we're not that far out of high school. This one hits home, and I it hits home for a lot of you who have or have put girls through high school. I'm wondering, like, how did I not know that they were possibly in class with grown men of who knows what background? We don't know. And the Democrats don't care to find out.

Okay, our second story for you is also a follow up on a story that I brought to you about the senseless, tragic, and completely preventable murder of 18-year-old Sheridan Gorman, who was a college student in Chicago who was murdered allegedly by an illegal as she and her friends just last week went out in the early hours of the morning, they went down to the Chicago waterfront, they wanted to see the Northern Lights, I want to see them.

Gotta go out in the early morning hours to see the Northern Lights. So they were out there searching for a great place to see it when they unfortunately cross paths with an illegal wearing a mask, holding a gun as Sheridan turned to flee from this madman. She was shot and killed. So who do we have in custody?

I wrote about this over at Red State. I'll try to remember to put a link in, I know you know the story. This is not one that has probably passed most of you by. His name is Jose Medina Medina. He's a 25 year old from Venezuela. He is here illegally. Much like our last story, he crossed the border during the Biden administration. They didn't ask a thing about him. They didn't vet him. They don't know who he was. They don't know where he went. It's like, come on in, go forth.

Go do what you're gonna do in our communities and they do what they're gonna do. And now a young woman is dead. Jose Medina Medina, we went over the specifics before, but just a brief recap, as I said, Sheridan, was 18 years old. She was going to Loyola College. She was out with friends. She went along the waterfront in the wee hours of last Thursday morning the Northern Lights.

She's shot by this man. He is now arrested and is charged with a felony count of first degree. He's got a litany of charges.

After Sheridan's death, what was notable was the lack of Democrats taking responsibility for anything that happened there, for their policies that allow Chicago to be a sanctuary city, to allow people like Medina Medina live, to flit about, free as can be in Chicago.

They weren't really particularly good at offering words of sorrow or comfort.

Sheridan Gorman's family. What they were really good at though were cruel, cruel displays of inhumanity just to make political points. We're going to watch a little bit of a video of Brandon Johnson. I get tired of using the word odious, but I feel like it's the best word for a lot of these Democrats. The odious Brandon Johnson, Democrat, Chicago mayor, who not even a week after Sheridan Gorman was murdered.

I don't even know if her family's been able to have a funeral yet. He decides this is a great time to pull a cruel, a cruel, very mean, I would say bullying, bullying a dead girl with this stunt that he finds humorous. Let's take a look.

Humor is what Brandon Johnson has on his mind. He's not thinking about ways to make his city safer. Obviously, we all see the crime reports every weekend of 50 plus people being shot, scores being killed every month because Brandon Johnson has no intention of doing his job or keeping his citizen safe. What was notable was the lack of kind words after Sheridan was killed. Brandon Johnson didn't do it. J.B. Pritzker didn't do it. Democrats are making a name for themselves by being absolutely cruel, nasty people who can't just say, this guy shouldn't have been in our country.

This guy who was arrested previously for shoplifting in Chicago, has a record, but these DA's they just let them right out back onto the streets because they want the chaos, they welcome the chaos that these illegals are fomenting because that allows them to grab more power from you and put you in danger.

Let's talk a little bit more about how Democrats in Chicago and Illinois reacted in the wake of Sheridan Gorman's preventable murder at the hands. Of a little thug that should not have been here. He crossed the border under Biden and the Democrats took it from there by doing nothing.

What I noted in an article that I wrote over at Red State was there's a pattern forming here.

Brandon Johnson thought that not even a week after this murder, this was the right time for him to come out and ha ha, we have an anti-ice, ha ha, abolish ICE. Like not the right time there, sport, not the right time. But you know what? He was just the latest in a line of Democrats in the area to really mock and bully and not take seriously what happened to Sheridan Gorman.

A Chicago alderwoman, a Democrat, I don't even know her name because I saw the video of her and she's just repulsive. She was on the receiving end of some well-earned wrath from the Gorman family, the poor family that's mourning the absolutely senseless tragedy that took their daughter from them.

They got a little ticked at this alderwoman. She made a video that basically said Sheridan was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and she may have startled Medina-Medina. So it's Sheridan's fault. It's not the alderwoman's fault for supporting absolutely horrible policies that give extra protections to illegals and hopefully future Democrat voters and take those protections away from Americans.

As a mother of an 18-year-old young woman, I cannot fathom the lunacy in this older woman's brain to say something like that, to blame the girl that just wanted to see the Northern Lights, just wanted to see the Northern Lights, wanted to take advantage of what Chicago had to offer, but couldn't because this older woman thinks that illegals are more important than the residents. But you know, who set the standard here?

It was what I call the "corpulent" Illinois Governor, J.B. Pritzker, a presidential hopeful, who also decided that he'd pile on the grief that the Gorman family is feeling by posting a video of himself. And I'm not going to show him because he's sweaty. You can almost smell him through the screen because he's just, he's huffing, he's puffing. He doesn't look very good. He probably doesn't smell very good. Not going to share it. But it's a video of him out on the waterfront of Chicago just a few days ago.

Hey, he's having a great time. It's the early morning hours. He's walking, he's huffing, he's puffing. He's having a heck of a time. No danger here. What are you all talking about? This is a peaceful place with only good and happy and wonderful things and rainbows and butterflies because that's what Democrats want you to think a sanctuary city is. But it's not. And of course the thing he doesn't show is that he's got a security detail.

Of course he's having a great walk. Nobody can come within 50 miles of him. What a jerk. Is this man a father? Does he have any feelings at all? He doesn't care. He does not care the hurt that he is causing the Gorman family by putting something out like that. Like, come on out. We welcome more people to be shot because look at me, I'm having a great time. And that's just the disconnect of the Democrat Party.

I gotta ask the question, where's the Bruce Springsteen song? Where's the tribute to Sheridan Gorman? A sweet girl. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about what a nice girl she was. She was happy to be there in Chicago, wanting to take advantage of it. And she did nothing wrong. She did way less wrong than Renee Good did.

Where's the song for her? Where are the white liberal women marching for her? Where are the people demanding justice for Sheridan Gorman?

And why can we not at the very least be angry at the fact that Democrats are piling on to the grief already felt by the Gorman family with their ridiculous videos, their ridiculous hot takes, and their lack of accountability? Where's the anger about that, ladies? Where are ya? Don't see ya!

In any decent political culture, which we don't have, and I'm not claiming we do, a stunt like this by what Johnson did, what the alderwoman did, what J.B. Pritzker did, would be unthinkable so soon after a senseless murder. They don't care. They're not interested in decency. They're interested in proving their ideological credentials and pandering to their base.

And their base must love it because as they say, silence is violence and I'm not hearing anything from the left, from the leftist women, from anybody about this on the Democrat side that's saying this was wrong, this could have been prevented. They're happy to publicly gloat over this abolish ICE thing while a grieving family is still living through the nightmare that they and their party created.
