'Chief Cheerleader': Scott Jennings Tears Into CNN Panel Over Kamala's Blatant 'Mental Acuity' Hypocrisy

CNN should probably stroke Scott Jennings a large bonus check to thank him for bringing some much-needed sanity – not to mention ratings – to the once-serious cable network. Jennings is a consistent and humorous conservative voice who can be relied on to call out Kamala Harris and the Democrat Party for their hypocrisy, which he demonstrated on Monday evening's "State of the Race" show.

The topic was Kamala's newest act of desperation: calling out Donald Trump for not having the "mental acuity" to be president. As RedState's Nick Arama reported Monday, Kamala has debuted the new talking point to rather disastrous results. Kamala was speaking at a rally in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday when she came forth with this nonsensical question about Trump:

"One must question," she said, grabbing her chin.

"Are they afraid that people will see that he's too weak and unstable to lead America? Is that what's going on?"

As Nick noted, the likes of Revoltin' Joe Scarborough tried to bolster this absurd talking point by retweeting the video of her making the comment and adding, “Why is his staff hiding him away?” Revoltin' Joe promptly shut down comments to his post and scurried away from the topic. Even he knows it's a loser of a tactic and the sign of a campaign in freefall.

Scott Jennings knows this, too, and came up against a CNN panel full of Democrats who are hypocritically digging their heels into this line of attack against Trump. Jennings noted that all of them, and Kamala in particular, had no legitimacy on the issue since they had assured the American public for four years that Joe Biden was "riding unicycles and juggling knives in the Oval Office."

Here are some highlights.

If I were Harris, I wouldn't be leaning too heavily into who's hiding what kind of medical conditions of people who are, or want to be, the president, given her role in lying about the condition of Joe Biden for the last four years. That's number one.

Number two, I don't think this works for her. I think – and I'm back in the bucket I was earlier – you're not selling your own candidacy. You're punching Donald Trump in the same way every other Democrat we've ever heard from for the least eight, nine years has punched this guy. That's not the problem with your campaign. We've heard all the attacks on Trump. If she cannot sell her own candidacy than just punching on him, if I were in her campaign, I just don't know that that's going to be enough.

It's classic Jennings:

Note the stern, smarmy looks that the women of the panel give Jennings. How dare he throw their own words back in their somewhat frozen faces? It's the tried-and-true way of lying, deflecting and smirking that has served the Democrat Party, and particularly their media mouthpieces, so well and for so long.

They truly are convinced that Americans are too dumb to remember their deception over the warranted questions around Joe Biden's own mental acuity, or lack thereof. Kamala, as Jennings noted, was the "chief cheerleader" for the Biden-is-sharp-as-a-tack crowd, presumably because she wanted to hang onto power for as long as possible and never dreamed Nancy Pelosi would depose Biden and slot her in as the nominee.

Kamala Harris, as Scott Jennings so brilliantly demonstrates, is an unserious, unprepared and deceitful candidate who's prepared to go as low as possible to win on November 5. With three weeks left, it's only going to get worse as she goes full bottom feeder with her messaging.
