In a Season of Tell-All Books, Trump's Divorce Lawyer Has Something to Add

EVERYBODY wants to write a book, now.

After the success of Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” it seems salacious content is the name of the game.

At 85 years old, Jay Goldberg, the attorney who handled Trump’s divorces from wife #1, Ivana, and mistress-turned-wife #2, Marla Maples, has decided it’s time to do his own tell-all, delving into the cases of some of his more famous clients.

Besides Trump, there’s Bono,  the Rolling Stones, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Willie Nelson (for starters).

Expect the story of how Trump tried to take back the $10 million divorce settlement paid to Ivana Trump, because she said mean things about him in the press.

In an interview last year with The New York Times, the then-84-year-old Goldberg pointed to a note he said Trump once sent him that read, “There has never been a lawyer more important to me than you.”

So Goldberg would be the guy that draws up his pre-nuptial agreements, I’m guessing.

Still, Goldberg wants people to know that they shouldn’t be looking for another book that slams Trump.

Goldberg told the Post that Trump “gets a very bad rap” and his book will “reflect his true character.”

Ok. Maybe Goldberg is the lawyer that actually got paid on time.
