So I guess we’re over the women who claimed to have been recipients of Trump’s alleged lecherous behavior, now?
Not a lot has been said about the 11 women and the one porn star who accused Trump of forcing himself on them, now that the election is over.
Perhaps, we are in the throes of the “new normal.”
Before the post-election scandals hit, let’s take a look back at an old favorite: Trump’s incestuous fascination with his eldest daughter:
Ivanka’s reaction to the comment seems to suggest that she’s used to it.
My reaction would have been something like, “Dad, knock it off! You’re creeping out the entire world! You’re totally sick! I hope you never run for president!”
That would have been my reaction, for sure.
As it turns out, Ivanka was approached at some point after that very uncomfortable interview, and asked her thoughts on what her creeptastic dad had said.
From the Hill:
On Thanksgiving morning, journalist Sarah Kendzior tweeted out a remark from Ivanka Trump in an August 2006 “Quotables” section of The Chicago Tribune that revealed her reaction.
“If he wasn’t my father, I would spray him with Mace,” she said.
Don’t let that stop you.
It’s an interesting reaction, in that it shows that she’s not oblivious to her dad’s inappropriateness.
Maybe we’ll skim through the next four years without any Clintonesque moments in the White House, but if anyone wants to start a pool…
Never saw much reporting on Ivanka's response to Trump saying he wanted to date her: "If he wasn't my father, I would spray him with Mace." pic.twitter.com/RVlP4DdIc1
