Hillary Clinton sparked a hashtag trend when she tweeted out to Donald Trump: Delete your account.
I’m fairly certain that wasn’t Clinton, herself, but rather, some hipster staffer working to grab some quick social media heat. It worked, too, as #DeleteYourAccount was the top trend on Twitter for quite some time Thursday evening.
Not to be outdone, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus shot a zinger back, showing his own Twitter chops:
.@HillaryClinton If anyone knows how to use a delete key, it’s you.

Also jumping at the wide open doorway for mocking Clinton that was presented was Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.).
Like how you deleted all your e-mails? https://t.co/HRfOhFaKiK

We can expect this battle for the White House to be carried out in a series of tweets and social media sniping.
That’s pretty much where we are, now.
