Editorial Urges Women and Girls to "Get Used To" Being Exposed to Male Genitals

The world has truly gone mad.

In a recent editorial with The Charlotte Observer, women and girls were urged to “get used to” being exposed to male genitalia in their bathrooms and shower rooms.

Charlotte is the liberal North Carolina city that first passed a citywide ordinance that would have forced all Charlotte bathrooms, locker rooms, shower rooms, and rest stops to go gender neutral. The broad wording set off alarms with state government, and an emergency session of the general assembly was called, in order to beat the April 1, 2016 implementation date of the Charlotte ordinance.

House Bill 2 was passed and signed into law by Governor Pat McCrory that same day.

Of course, there was outrage from liberals everywhere, including the petulant despot inhabiting 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Obama’s Department of (social) Justice threatened North Carolina with a lawsuit, and the loss of federal monies to schools and public safety. Governor McCrory beat them to the punch and filed his own lawsuit, first.

Next, Emperor Obama bypassed Congress (as he is prone to do) and passed a sweeping directive for all schools in the nation, suggesting they open up their bathrooms and locker rooms to all sexes, or face fines and loss of federal money.

That’s federal money, as in, the taxes paid in from citizens of each state that he’s now threatening.

The appalling act of government overreach has caused a backlash, with state after state stepping forward to stand with North Carolina and push back against Obama’s ridiculous directive.

The bathroom bill, itself, should never have been made a necessity. Governor McCrory has said that it was never his desire to become the “bathroom police,” but because of the insane push of cultural Marxists to appeal to the “feelings” of the mentally ill, rather than to consider the commonsense protection and comfort of others, it was made a necessity.

Yes, we are now living in an age where people need to be reminded of what is actually right and rational, in order to protect our society from the perverse and corrupt.

In the Charlotte Observer editorial, examples were given where gender neutral bathrooms were “working.”

In Washington state, for example, schools and businesses were encouraged to offer alternate bathrooms or changing areas.

From the editorial:

The measures follow a simple premise: Offer those who are uncomfortable a chance to be comfortable, but give choice to everyone instead of taking it away from some.

Translation: You’ll be given a chance to be comfortable, as long as your comfort doesn’t interfere with our social experimentation.

The editorial neglects to mention several things.

First of all, alternate bathrooms were recommended in HB2, but has either been ignored or rejected, outright, because compromise is not the goal. The goal is submission to a worldview. Period.

Secondly, there is no rainbow utopia in Washington state. There have been reports of men taking advantage of their lax bathroom security, including one “transgender female” with a record of sexually assaulting a handicapped young woman. Of course he (I refuse to refer to them by their fantasy pronouns) is firmly on the side of allowing men into the female bathrooms, and vice versa. This oddly shadows the convicted child molester who was one of the architects and prime supporters of the Charlotte bathroom ordinance.

To further push the narrative, the Charlotte Observer editorial ends with:

This is what the Obama administration nudged the rest of the country toward Friday. Yes, the thought of male genitalia in girls’ locker rooms – and vice versa – might be distressing to some. But the battle for equality has always been in part about overcoming discomfort – with blacks sharing facilities, with gays sharing marriage – then realizing that it was not nearly so awful as some people imagined.

This is a bizarre and disconnected mix of callous disregard for the safety and concerns of others, as well as absolute abandonment to hedonism.

This is not some squeamish remnant of Victorian mores that is causing outrage. It is commonsense, and a firm grasp of facts, when it comes to the real world and all that can happen when safeguards are removed for the sake of “diversity.”
