This is a weekly summary of news that the legacy media and Democrats have obfuscated for partisan political reasons.
1. Let’s start off with an article that peels back more layers of the FISA abuse onion:
The Justice Department watchdog referred FBI agent Stephen Somma for disciplinary review after an investigation into alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses.
Somma, a counterintelligence investigator in the FBI’s New York field office, was identified only as “Case Agent 1” in Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report, released in December. Sources told the New York Times that Somma is that official. The FBI did not comment for the report.
Somma was “primarily responsible for some of the most significant errors and omissions” during the process of obtaining FISA warrants to wiretap Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in 2016 and 2017, according to Horowitz. Horowitz confirmed the FBI relied heavily upon British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s salacious and unverified dossier when pursuing the secret surveillance.

2. The Democrat Party is the party of socialism, as pointed out here.
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is proving House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wrong. Pelosi has repeatedly tried to distinguish the Democratic Party mainstream from the party’s socialist wing.
Pelosi told a college student at a January 2017 town hall that Democrats “are capitalists” rather than socialists.
Sanders’s surge is consistent with polls showing that Democratic voters will choose socialism over capitalism when given the choice.

3. Daniel Greenfield makes the case for deporting George Soros.
There’s another Nazi collaborator living on Fifth Avenue. He’s a billionaire and untouchable because his dubious fortune has been used to finance the Democrat Party, radical leftists, assorted anti-Semites, and opponents of ICE: the agency that should step in to remove the aged Hungarian from the United States.
The legal basis for removing Soros is quite clear.
The Holtzman Amendment states that “Any alien… under the direction of, or in association with… (II) any government in any area occupied by the military forces of the Nazi government of Germany, (III) any government established with the assistance or cooperation of the Nazi government of Germany, or (IV) any government which was an ally of the Nazi government of Germany, ordered, incited, assisted, or otherwise participated in the persecution of any person because of race, religion, national origin, or political opinion is inadmissible.” It provides grounds for deportation even retroactively.
On 60 Minutes, Soros had admitted working with a Hungarian Nazi collaborator to confiscate Jewish property. While he and his flacks have since tried to spin that admission, the interview is quite clear.
“My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who swore that you were his adopted godson, went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews,” Steve Kroft asked the radical billionaire.
“Yes, that’s right. Yes,” Soros admitted, nodding his head.

4. It looks like Mueller’s prosecutors are in deep kimche.
House Republicans have found evidence that Russia Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team may have misled the courts and Congress and are considering making criminal referrals asking the Justice Department to investigate those prosecutors, a key lawmaker says.
Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, told Just the News that his team has been scouring recent documents released by the FBI, including witness reports known as 302s, and found glaring evidence that contradicts claims the Mueller team made to courts and Congress.
“We’re now going through these 302s, and we’re going to be making criminal referrals on the Mueller dossier team, the people that put this Mueller report together,” Nunes said during an interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast set to air on Tuesday.

5. The pro-abortion crowd was dealt a body blow on Monday.
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Monday that the Trump administration can continue stripping federal funding from clinics that offer abortions.
The court upheld the Trump administration’s June 2019 declaration that taxpayer-funded clinics must stop referring women for abortions or be stripped of their Title X funding.

6. More criminality by Comey and McCabe is detailed here; this time abusing the warrantless wiretap program.
The FBI agent who ran the bureau’s warrantless spying program said Wednesday he warned ex-Director James Comey and his deputy, Andrew McCabe that the program was a useless waste of taxpayer money that needlessly infringed Americans’ civil liberties but his bosses refused to take action.
Retired Special Agent Bassem Youssef ran the FBI’s Communications Analysis Unit from late 2004 until his retirement in late 2014. He told Just the News he fears the deeply flawed program, which was started in response to the Sept. 11 attacks, was allowed to keep going to give Americans a false sense of security in the war on terror and possibly to enable inappropriate spying, such as that which targeted President Trump’s 2016 campaign.
“I have no doubt, or very little doubt, that it was used for political spying or political espionage,” Youssef said.

7. The Democrats in the House has finally shown their true colors:
Democratic lawmakers Thursday successfully blocked a GOP resolution condemning Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’s laudatory comments about the Castro regime.
By a vote of 224-189 that fell along party lines, the House of Representatives on Thursday voted to block a resolution that not only condemned numerous human rights abuses that took place under the Castro regime, but also condemned recent instances where Sanders refused to fully denounce the late Fidel Castro’s dictatorial rule over Cuba.

8. Polls show increasing Latino support for President Trump.
One poll puts [President Trump’s] approval rating as high as 44% and shows him winning 41% of the Hispanic vote in a head-to-head match-up with Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont. That would best his 2016 showing of 28% support and put him in the running with President George W. Bush for the highest share of Hispanic votes for a GOP candidate.
“Latinos have lost the fear of Donald Trump,” said Alfonso Aguilar, who ran the Department of Homeland Security’s citizenship office in the Bush administration and now runs the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles.

9. AG Barr skewers the legacy media here:
Attorney General William Barr lamented the “massively consolidated” liberal press in the United States which has become “remarkably monolithic in viewpoint” and no longer effective in preventing the “tyranny of the majority.”
Barr’s Wednesday speech at the 2020 National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville, Tennessee focused on “religion, the decentralization of government power, and the free press” as three “bulwarks against this slide toward despotism” in the United States.

10. Republicans are fighting for FISA reforms while Democrats refuse to admit there were problems.
The push for FISA reform is intensifying on Capitol Hill this week as Republicans and Democrats battled behind closed doors Thursday to find solutions that would ensure federal law enforcement, intelligence agencies and the secret court never again abuse the surveillance apparatus that was center of the FBI’s malfeasance to spy on the Trump campaign in 2016.
That reform battle has top Republican lawmakers calling for an amicus representative – a citizen advocate- representing Americans inside the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to oversee the applications being submitted by the FBI to spy on an American citizen. At the present time, there is no one to advocate on behalf of an American being targeted by the FBI and it is solely at the discretion of the judges of the secret court to ask for a review if they decide it’s warranted, lawmakers told SaraACarter.com.
Read the rest here. The FISA procedures must be radically changed to protect Fourth Amendment freedoms of American citizens and to prevent abuse for political purposes.
11. Despite Democrat attempts to sir up panic and chaos, there is no need to panic about the coronavirus.
Don’t hit the panic button just yet. Within six months, stocks are usually on the mend from the fallout of disease outbreaks such as the coronavirus, say experts.
Jeffrey Kleintop, chief global investment strategist at Charles Schwab.
Kleintop compiled research recently on how long stocks felt the pain of endemics and pandemics. Not too long, it turns out.
Stocks were down 2% in the immediate wake of a 2010 cholera outbreak, which eventually sickened more than 6% of Haitians. Six months later? They were up more than 13%.
In 2016, the Zika virus, linked to birth defects in the babies of mothers infected while pregnant, tore through Latin America, the Caribbean and the U.S. The global stock market shed 6% a month after Zika took off. But six months later? It was down just around 0.6%.
Read the rest here. Remember this: upwards of 25,000 or more Americans die each year from the flu. There have been ZERO American deaths to date from the coronavirus.
