The continuing invasion of illegal aliens across the US-Mexico border remains a crisis that shows no signs of abating, and it’s a travesty that the legacy media ignore the problem while focusing on the false narrative of impeachment. From a UNHCR forced displacement report and a related article comes some of the following information:
The global population of forcibly displaced increased by 2.3 million people in 2018. By the end of the year, almost 70.8 million individuals were forcibly displaced worldwide as a result of persecution, conflict, violence, or human rights violations. As a result, the world’s forcibly displaced population remained yet again at a record high. The migration of a few million people has already turned the European Union inside out and motivated the election of an America-first presidency. What we have seen so far, though, is nothing compared to what is to come
Fertility is declining in almost all the educated and prosperous parts of the world, notably including East Asia. But it remains extremely high in the least-educated parts of the world with the worst governance and the poorest growth prospects. [Note the increasing number of young people as projected in those areas, as shown in the below graph.]
Each year, thousands of migrants from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia make their way to South America and then move northward, bound for the United States — and their numbers have been increasing steadily. It’s impossible to know how many migrants from outside the Americas begin the journey and do not make it to the United States, or how many make it to the country and slip through undetected.
But the number of ‘irregular migrants’ — they’re called extra-continentales in Tapachula — apprehended on the U.S. side of the border with Mexico has tripled since 2010.” The hour is already late to put a merit-based immigration system in place with effective enforcement against illegal immigration [and to build a truly secure wall with enhanced border security!].
And a LOT of those people continue to have their sights set on getting into the US, mainly across the US-Mexico border. A couple of pals provided interesting feedback on this information. They – like I – are greatly concerned about the ongoing flood of illegal aliens across the border that Democrats and the legacy media continue to ignore. First, are remarks from a former Marine; here is what he had to say:
These people learned from the friggin’ fire ants that invaded south Texas 40 years ago. The ants learned to cross the Rio Grande by rafting – millions of them in a giant ball floated from Mexico into Texas. Then, slowly, the ants migrated north arriving at the Red River Counties about 15 years ago. In between, they played hell with all things in their way, including devastating the bob white quail population, rabbits, and other burrowing mammals. And, the ants played havoc on the infrastructure destroying millions in electrical distribution systems and about anything other framework that uses wiring and switch gear. Plus, when disturbed by us humans, they attack in mass leaving stings that become festering sores.
Analogous to the fire ant invasion are the people that article speaks about. They enter our country at the weakest point – the under belly. Move slowly north, plague natural and manmade resources, rendering system over stressed and failing. Look what has happened to once great public schools, hospital districts, etc., in Dallas, TX. Fifty or sixty years ago, Dallas had great public schools, a tremendous public health facility, and low crime. In the past 50 years, those three categories mentioned have gone upside down and some.
The earlier claim made that the Dallas public schools were failing based on the black students enrolled pales in comparison to the number of brown students there now – most barely speaking English. Where did they come from – all you need to is look south and you see more coming. Dallas and parts thereby are seeing multi-cultural created problems abounding. Each culture has its own ways and means of existence, and to hell with our Constitution! None of them want to assimilate into our society. They do not want to accept our values and English speaking way of life. So, do what the agricultural sector had to do with the fire ants: stop them at the Rio Grande before they can land on the Texas-side banks.
The next comments are from an old special forces guy who also minces no words:
This information is spot on. All I can offer the US for hope is to opine that once everything breaks down and the civil militia stands up, the flow will stop and even reverse. In post-amnesty US the state of non-illegal immigration will a non-issue for a generation. As the world follows suit and international self-destruction and cultural auto-cannibalism becomes wide spread it could well become the prime thrust of life in America to defend the borders while hunting down illegals that would tap the system without providing worthwhile returns.
Looking at this in that way, I agree that perhaps President Trump is just ahead of his time and attempting to get us on a “war footing” to deal with the coming world economy collapse (played out as a world-wide panic migration for food and water by the globalists). Who knows? Maybe Trump is a Robert Heinlein fan, too!
I believe that, given the propensity of human nature to welcome bribes and sell one’s soul to the devil, a wall will not fully solve the issue. But it will cut illegal migrations by at least 75%, and that – in the long run – could give us the edge to maintain a national presence in the face of accelerating third world over-population and the panic migration that stems from that.
In the end we will need a wall north AND south. Canada and Mexico can do the same – I would not be insulted. Further – if Canada and Mexico would do their jobs in this regard, it would help with the pressures at our borders. I notice (and have witnessed) the borders of Southern Mexico. They could keep out more migrants if they wanted to. But, they too have an issue with human nature and accepting bribes – AND – have no issues passing the migration woes on to us – who they still regard as a bottomless pit of benefits. Canada, which is not yet willing to accept that globalism (which initially they benefit from), will eventually consume them and that their big sack of refugees and migrants will eventually have their way – European style.
My sentiments exactly. While the flood continues, concerned Americans such as these two continue to demand actions to close the US-Mexico border in order to shut down the invasion and drug and human trafficking. On the other hand, the Democrats in Congress and legacy media continue to focus their attention solely on their false impeachment narrative and refuse to fund completion of the wall. They could care less about the continuing flood of illegal aliens across the border and the damage being done to the country and to individual Americans who are the victims of crimes perpetrated by some of those illegals.
If we don’t get control of the border, we’re going to lose the country. It’s just that simple! No country can survive intact without strong border security and tightly controlled immigration. Watching the European Union self-destruct through misguided policies to accept “migrants” (their euphemism for “undocumented workers”) should give us all pause for concern. We dare not follow in Europe’s footsteps if we wish to preserve the Republic.
There was virtually ZERO immigration into the US between 1925 and 1965 except for carefully selected entrants. With sufficient political will, we can close the border and assimilate all arrivals who pass asylum screening within a generation. Do we have that political will to finish the Wall and stop the flood? We need to vote for congressional candidates who support the Wall in 2020.
The end.
