New Jersey Democrat Demands Pelosi Strip 126 Republican Congressmen of Their Seats Because They Opposed Election Fraud

Last night, the US Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit brought by Texas that sought to make the 2020 election something that could at least pass for free and fair in dim light. As a result, we will have a man (and I use the term only in its loosest form) sworn in as president who is not only in the latter stages of physical and cognitive decline but for whom there is no solid evidence that he won the election. The decision to dismiss was a disappointment because there were major Constitutional issues presented and eighteen other states joined in asking the Supreme Court to resolve a basic question: is there any recourse available to anyone to challenge a blatantly fraudulent election carried out under illegal procedures. Along with those courageous states were 126 GOP members of the House of Representatives led by Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (list of members).

Now a slack-jawed crypto-communist from New Jersey, Bill Pascrell, is demanding that Nancy Pelosi refuse to seat these 126 men and women who had the courage of their convictions and were willing to stand up when others sneered at any effort to bring integrity to our voting system and the presidential election.

U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) today called on House leaders to sanction Members and exclude from the 117th Congress any Members-elect who are supporting Donald Trump’s efforts to invalidate the 2020 presidential election. Pascrell cites the text of Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment which disqualifies from service any individuals who seek to attack American democracy, as well as Congress’s power to exclude Members by majority vote as acknowledged by the U.S. Supreme Court in Powell v. McCormack.

“Stated simply, men and women who would act to tear the United States government apart cannot serve as Members of the Congress. These lawsuits seeking to obliterate public confidence in our democratic system by invalidating the clear results of the 2020 presidential election undoubtedly attack the text and spirit of the Constitution, which each Member swears to support and defend,” Rep. Pascrell writes House leaders. “Consequently, I call on you to exercise the power of your offices to evaluate steps you can take to address these constitutional violations this Congress and, if possible, refuse to seat in the 117th Congress any Members-elect seeking to make Donald Trump an unelected dictator.”

Article I, Section 5 of the United States Constitution gives each chamber of Congress ultimate responsibility to decide its membership, positing that “[e]ach House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members.”

Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment stipulates that: “No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof…”

Not only were some of the most profoundly stupid parts of the leftwing media quick to join it, keep in mind that this assclown graduated law school but apparently slept through the class on that Constituion-thingy:

And he’s been joined by Adam Schiff:

Pascrell’s kabuki is not going anywhere but it underscores a basic principle that governs how the left operates. It is not enough that they get their way, you have to agree that they are correct or you are evil.

This applies to homosexual sex, perverts in the kids’ restrooms, the debasement of marriage, the right to kill children in utero, you name the social pathology and this applies. Yesterday we saw it in action in politics. It isn’t enough that we will have demented incompetent grifter sworn in a president, if you don’t agree that he was lawfully elected, despite mountains of evidence to the contrary, they will come after you even if you are a member of congress who did not cheat to win your seat.

Believe me when I say I understand people being pissed off and disheartened. But if you think the solution to that is withdrawing from politics and not voting, you are sadly mistaken.

Nothing in politics is fixed. The republic is not over. We are getting a clearer image of what the problem is, and a lot of the problem is the people we elect. In Georgia and Arizona, the entire state government was under GOP control and yet Kemp and Ducey let the Democrats run the electoral process. In Michigan and Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, you had state legislatures that stood by toying with their nether regions as unelected bureaucrats played with the voting process. You had state Republican parties that were more interested in being liked that carrying out a scorched earth campaign to preserve ballot integrity.

While Pascrell’s stupid letter is going nowhere but in the spank bank of a lot of leftists, we can’t dismiss it. Unless we organize and turn out to vote, next time around we could very well see a Speaker Adam Schiff actually refuse to seat Republican members of congress.
