From the moment convicted pedophile Joseph Rosenbaum was dropped in a Kenosha, WI, auto dealership car lot while attacking 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse

the left has been desperate to establish a narrative in which the three convicted felons who were shot by Rittenhouse were actually upright citizens out for an evening of burning, looting, and mayhem in defense of the lives of Black people…who were wise enough to stay home and far away from this sh**show. Rittenhouse was initially labeled a white supremacist by the leftwing press and even by members of Congress despite there being zero indications that was the case. They also kept claiming that he’d traveled from “out of state” to go to Kenosha in search of a fight and had brought a modern sporting rifle with him.

The facts have turned out to be significantly different. The thugs shot by Rittenhouse were not solid citizens. They were all convicted felons. One was a pedophile. Two were convicted of domestic battery. The one who survived the encounter was felon in illegal possession of a handgun. I know John Donne in No Man is an Island said “any man’s death diminishes me,” but I’m sure, were Donne alive and encountered these three, he would have reconsidered and made an exception.

Instead of Rittenhouse picking a fight, it now looks like he was stalked by a feral mob intent upon killing or seriously injuring him. READ Antifa Rioting in Kenosha Were Armed and Spoiling for a Gunfight and They Found One.

The big question, in my mind, has been how did a 17-year-old end up in Kenosha with a semi-automatic rifle. A lot is made of Rittenhouse being from Illinois, but that really isn’t a huge deal. For those who aren’t familiar with the geography, it is only 21 miles from Antioch, IL, to Kenosha, WI, So it isn’t like he drove some great distance. In fact, he is drove about half the distance as did “Lefty” Grosskreutz did from West Allis. And, if he did bring a rifle with him, why isn’t that included in the charges in someway?

Now we have the answer.

On August 25th, 2020, Kenosha spiraled into chaos following the Jacob Blake shooting. The Kenosha Mayor and Wisconsin Governor failed to provide a basic degree of law and order to protect the citizens and community buildings in Kenosha. The city burned as mobs destroyed buildings and property, and looters stole whatever they wanted. Rioters defaced storefronts, the courthouse, and many other public and private locations across the city.

After Kyle finished his work that day as a community lifeguard in Kenosha, he wanted to help clean up some of the damage, so he and a friend went to the local public high school to remove graffiti by rioters. Later in the day, they received information about a call for help from a local business owner, whose downtown Kenosha auto dealership was largely destroyed by mob violence. The business owner needed help to protect what he had left of his life’s work, including two nearby mechanic’s shops. Kyle and a friend armed themselves with rifles due to the deadly violence gripping Kenosha and many other American cities, and headed to the business premises. The weapons were in Wisconsin and never crossed state lines.

So Rittenhouse worked in Kenosha. After work he helped clean away Antifa graffiti at a high school:

He was loaned a weapon (and, if he was considered to be under the supervision of an adult the charge of illegally carrying a weapon goes away) and joined the people trying to protect property. He was stalked, attacked, and defended himself.
