We all knew this had to happen. From the moment New York commie, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, scored an out-of-nowhere victory over a lazy and entitled New York machine pol, she became the frontrunner for the presidency in the minds of a lot of Bernie Bros and the incels that populate leftwing media. Speaking of which, Matt Yglesias led the charge today with the idea that the Constitution really is a ridiculous document that we should ignore:

I hesitate to laugh because I’m not sure he’s wrong but it shows the extent that the left has come to see Ocasio Cortez as their candidate on horseback who will lead them to victory.

We see this attack on the Constitution every once in a while. I’m old enough to remember when some conservatives made the same argument when Arnold Schwartzenegger was first elected governor of California…this was before he rogered the nanny, had a bastard child, and revealed himself to be just another incompetent California Democrat.

Of course, Ocasio Cortez, being the savant that she is, may have found a loophole:
