I’m a long time skeptic of exit polls, going back to when John Kerry kicked George Bush’s ass. But it is the only tool we have. This factoid just came in
Initial exit polls show 60% of Alabama voters made up their mind about Senate race *before November* i.e. before Washington Post story about Roy Moore alleged sexual misconduct broke pic.twitter.com/foX3GmCLcZ

If this is to be believed, 60% of the electorate basically ignored the coverage of Roy Moore and the accusations against him. Of the remainder, we don’t know what “made up your mind” really means. Did they change their mind about Moore or did they listen to the allegations and decide to vote as they would have in the past.
