Infamous 'Pepper Balls' Demonstrator Arrested But His Employer Seems To Be Okay With Violence

During President Trump’s rally in Phoenix, the ‘antifa’ thuglets were out in force trying to stop the speech by the sheer force of non-violence. One of the most amusing instances was the antics of an egregious douche who has become known as “Pepper Balls.” My RedState colleague, Teri Christoph, posted on the subject.

Now he’s under arrest.

A protester, seen on video kicking a can of tear gas away from himself after being hit in the groin with the projectile launched by the Phoenix Police Department, has been arrested on criminal charges, according to CBS 5.

Joshua Stuart Cobin, a Scottsdale, Az., native, was booking into jail on Thursday on three counts of felony aggravated assault on police and a misdemeanor count of unlawful assembly.

Each of those aggravated assault charges are worth from one to two-and-one-half years in prison where Mr. Corbin’s physique, manliness, and offense ensure that he will be treated with deference and respect.

Corbin, who is employed by Go Daddy, thinks this is all dreadfully unfair. The average person shows up to any peaceful protest wearing a protective mask.

“I don’t equate kicking or putting back tear gas canisters as attacking police. I never attacked a police officer.”

The arrest affidavit tells a different story. He was knocked down by a non-lethal projectile on his third instance of trying to throw/kick riot control gas canisters back into the police lines. He got second-degree burns on his hand when he tried to throw a tear gas canister and realized, too late, that it was very hot. Apparently, Corbin documented his actions on social media making the prosecution a lot less expensive.

This nonsense is only going to come to a screeching halt when law enforcement starts taking it seriously. For way too long, the police have seemed to contented with themselves in letting the ‘antifa’ and pro-Trump hooligans duke it out in some sort of controlled bum fight and only got involved when there was property damage or the fighting started to spread. Guys like Corbin need to be arrested and they need to be metaphorically set on fire by prosecutors. If that doesn’t happen, we are on a glide path to an eventual street battle involving firearms.

Go Daddy hasn’t commented yet on the fate of Corbin. Right now it seems that they, like the rest of the tech world, is happy with violence so long as it is violence of which they approve.
