#1 - Whoa: Lip Reader Exposes What Obama and Trump Talked About at Carter Funeral — by Nick Arama

Now, it sounds like they were talking about international agreements. Trump pulled out of the Iran deal and the Paris Accords, and he wants to pull out of things like the World Health Organization (WHO). Obama appears to get whatever the issue is saying, "it should be good."  But Trump apparently thinks it's a pressing matter, which makes me even more curious about what it might be. Does he think Obama knows something, or is he going to drop some words on him about if Democrats continue to go after him? I can imagine he might have some things he might say on that score to back them off. Now I really want to know more.

Freeman also dished on church conversations like this when he helped to translate the chat Obama and Joe Biden had at the memorial service for Ethel Kennedy during the campaign.

#2 - About That Video of Deb Fischer's Husband and Kamala Harris That's Circulating on Social Media — by Sister Toldjah

Speaking from my role as a caregiver, I watched my dad constantly look down when he used his cane over the years and then later his walker, terrified he was going to fall. My mom has done the same. Dad did not like to be touched (hand on back, shoulder, handshake, etc), either, while using the cane and walker for the same reasons.

Is it possible Mr. Fischer's actions were deliberate?  Maybe. Some conservative Twitter/X accounts were praising him for the same reasons Cohen and others were criticizing him. But my money is on Mr. Fischer likely being far more concerned about losing his balance and falling than for being viewed as "low character" by low-character clout-seeking social media mobs for not shaking Harris' hand.

#3 - Prepare to Be Shocked: Los Angeles' Fire Chief Is a DEI-Obsessed 'LGBTQ' Woman Who Wasted Millions — by Bonchie

Whenever you hear DEI advocates claim that their initiatives are going to result in the "best and brightest," you can just flush whatever else they have to say. It's the same thing we hear from the Biden administration regarding DEI and the U.S. Military. Again and again, the actual result ends up being less qualified applications pushed through due to the identity boxes they check. In the case of the military, it also results in recruitment dropping overall as prospective service members realize they'll be discriminated against to push left-wing narratives.

In the case of Crowley, she spent millions of dollars creating an entire DEI bureau within the LAFD with the express goal of increasing "diversity" within the department. Keep in mind that the department was already facing financial constraints, and in 2024, its budget was cut by $17.6 million.

#4 - Trump Spills the Beans on THAT Viral Moment With Obama at Jimmy Carter’s Funeral: ‘We Just Got Along’ — by Rusty Weiss

"I didn't realize how friendly it looked," Trump said, adding, "I said, 'Boy, they look like two people who like each other' and we probably do. We have a little different philosophies, right, but we probably do."

Trump revealed that the atmosphere was also positive as all of the former presidents "met backstage" before the funeral proceedings.

"We all got along very well," he added. "Which is good."

#5 - Sunny Hostin Accidentally Exposed Her Husband's Alleged Insurance Scam, Now He's a Defendant in a RICO Case — by Bonchie

While I don't doubt that there's more evidence of her husband's alleged misconduct than what Hostin said on 'The View,' no one can deny the rich irony here. She goes on television and literally describes him committing insurance fraud and then he gets rolled up in a massive insurance fraud lawsuit. You can't make this stuff up.

We'll see where this goes, and obviously, he has not been found liable for anything yet. Big picture, though, it certainly puts a damper on Hostin's constant claiming of the moral high ground in any discussion. It also leaves nothing to chance in pondering just how incredibly dull-witted she is. I shouldn't have to say this, but it's probably not a good idea to go on live television and expose your husband's alleged fraud in a vain attempt to virtue-signal. Perhaps Hostin will be reading another "legal note" on "The View" very soon.
