I've often decried the propensity for politics to turn into a team sport, but as we head into the final two weeks of this election season, it's hard not to get swept up in the Red Team-Blue Team dichotomy and allow the competitive instinct to hold sway.
Of course I want my "team" to win — they wouldn't be my team if I didn't. Unlike some, I'm not the "win at all costs" sort. I'm a firm believer in winning fair and square. If the only way you have to win is by cheating, you suck. That said, I'm also a firm believer in leaving it all on the field.

I also recognize that winning requires assembling the right team — and sometimes, that means making trades. As a recovering Democrat, I'm rarely surprised to see people move from Blue to Red. The other direction? Well, it's counterintuitive for me.
But since we're on the subject, I have a trade proposal: We'll give Kamala and Team Blue Adam Kinzinger and Dick and Liz Cheney. In exchange, we'll take Bobby Kennedy, Danica Patrick, and Tulsi Gabbard for Team Red. I have it on good authority that the Dems are thrilled to have "opinion leaders" like the Cheneys and Kinzinger on their side. Given that, I'd say that's a mighty fair trade.
Look who just joined the Republican Party!!!! @TulsiGabbard is so down to earth, I mean look at her, she’s doing her own make up on the way to our event a few weeks ago. I thought it was so cute that I had to grab a pic!
