In other words: Biden knows they don’t play fair, but he still wants to be friends. This cowardice is at the heart of the current administration’s failed decisions on foreign relations.

After a quiet morning, President Joe Biden will welcome President William Ruto of the Republic of Kenya to the White House on Wednesday afternoon.

The Trump trial in Manhattan is on an extended pause (until next Tuesday, when closing arguments will be presented). 

Meanwhile, Sen. Bob Menendez's (D-NJ) trial in the Southern District of New York marches on.

Taking a little time out from the political chaos to note that several communities were met with chaos in the form of Mother Nature on Tuesday. The folks in Greenfield, Iowa, took a particularly awful hit. If you're the praying sort, send some up for them — and all those impacted by these storms. (There are more anticipated today — so if you're in the watch zone, please remain weather aware.)
