Yesterday, at this very site, I wrote a piece about a burgeoning effort to finally get a peek into what exactly happened at that Wuhan lab that may or may not be the source of COVID leak. The long and the short of it is that a couple of GOP senators would like very much for the Biden administration to declassify any information already gathered about the pandemic, so the American people can feel free to question the World Health Organization’s likely-compromised findings without fear of cancellation.

I discuss that effort on today’s podcast, and I try to wrap it into a broader discussion of propaganda; specifically Chinese propaganda that American politicians seem eager to spread (intentionally or not). Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich went into detail with Just the News on the subject:

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is accusing President Biden and Vice President Harris of conducting a “propaganda campaign” that parrots the same messages about systemic racism in America that Communist China has delivered.

In an interview with Just the News, Gingrich said the messages Biden and Harris gave after the Derek Chauvin trial verdict matched those offered by Chinese diplomats at a contentious meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, with U.S. officials last month.

Hollywood and some professional sports leagues, as we’ve all been made aware, are particularly egregious in serving as some weird arm of the Chinese propaganda machine, but they may already be learning what that kind of fealty to tyranny leads to. It gets your movies pulled to start. And only gets worse from there.
