I hadn’t yet seen the full clip of Joe Biden speaking to the House Democratic Issues Conference (the weird “open Biden” meeting) when I recorded this week’s show, so I talk a bit about how maybe it’s a good thing Biden hasn’t graced us with a State of the Union address because watching two hours of him stammering is a painful prospect. But now that I’ve watched how he is among his people…I’m not totally sure some of the addled-brain stuff we’ve been seeing is genuine.
You can watch the full 15 minutes here and let me know what you see.
here’s further context that doesn’t make it any less cringe: https://t.co/dyYC3s5TKs

In the end, it might not matter because even if it’s a bit of an affectation so people will leave him be, it’s still the image we’re projecting to the world and it’s not good. Especially as states start to drop pandemic restrictions and progressives — oddly but predictably — express their rage over the fact that the world is healing.
I talk about all that on the show today, as well as the new talking point in lefty film reviewing: “late stage capitalism.” Oh, and I have some fun with the fellas from “Coming 2 America” (trailer below).
