Watch: Hurt Feelings After John Fetterman Gives Two Pro-Hamas Outlets the Treatment They Deserve

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) remains in "I said what I said" mode, and it's honestly been kind of refreshing to see someone on Capitol Hill lay it all out there when he's questioned on something rather than giving canned responses to questions he gets asked.

As we've reported, he's been unafraid to call it as he sees it with his own side, and he's been especially keen on calling out the rise of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) party, and along with that, the DSA-backed House and Senate hopefuls in races across the country.

He's earned the ire of some of those DSA-linked candidates, including Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who on a recent donor conference call likened independent-thinking leftist politicos like Fetterman to an "ogre on a pike" who needed to be primaried in order to send a message to other Democrats who don't fall in line with his extremist ideas.

In a Tuesday CNBC interview, though, Fetterman confirmed that he simply didn't care if he was primaried or not, because he was committed to calling out the "crazies" in his party for their anti-Israelism and other insanity that he felt had no place in the Democrat Party.

But on Wednesday, a "gotcha" hallway interview from a purported "reporter" with far-left media outlet Zeteo (which is owned by Israel-bashing former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan) did not go according to plan when the first-term senator turned the tables on his questioner by asking why the outlet had such a pro-Hamas, pro-Hezbollah tilt to it and why its readers loved it so much.

The flustered journo continued his gotcha games, trying to probe Fetterman on his support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and how a new poll allegedly shows a majority of Americans support arresting him.

At one point, Fetterman shared a message with Zeteo's readers, jokingly suggesting he wanted to "apologize" for Hamas' leadership and Iranian leaders being killed as a result of U.S./Israeli military action in the region. He did the same thing to Drop Site News, and clearly there were some hurt feelings all around from the "reporters" at the justifiable treatment of their "news" orgs.

These were fun to watch:

From DSN:

Sen. John Fetterman refused to answer questions from Drop Site's Julian Andreone on Capitol Hill — instead launching into an unprompted defense of Israel, saying he loves "watching Israel eliminate the Hamas leadership" and demanding to know "why Drop Site loves Hamas and Iran and Hezbollah so much."

"It's a race between who's more pro-Hamas: Drop Site or Zeteo?"

Here was something else that was noticed about the interaction between the Zeteo guy and Fetterman:

Relatedly, to further prove the point about the senseless Israel bashing at those sites, here was Mehdi Hasan wondering if Fetterman had gotten dressed up for Netanyahu's visit to Washington, D.C., or the services for the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC):

Absolute clown show. Good on Fetterman for putting these fauxnalists in their place.

Fetterman's "I don't give a ****" tour continues, and we are here for it.
